I actually liked this episode a lot. It was 50% fighting and 50% wacky cartoon hijinks like I hoped. There were many gags that had me chuckling the whole thing (Wile slamming against his own painted tunnel twice and the little umbrella actually shielding him from a crushing object, lol). Honestly, I do get the criticism that the animation felt too tame or that lacked impact, but I believe that's mostly we compare the episode to the original episodes of Tom and Wile's cartoons, which if you guys remember are ridiculously well animated, amazingly fluid, impecable intensity and sharp timing.
I'm happy to see Deku back, but can't say much about Miles since haven't read his comics nor watched the Spiderverse movies.

I'm guessing it's because the anime recently ended (or was about to end) so MHA still has a lot of hype around and they have the story over for Deku's full analysis.

Arent KND technology basically making stuff from like every day stuff around them, while Dexter technology is more kinda advanced? In crossovers he was praised by mojo jojo too

Dexter is way more impressive on a casual level, however just as a sword can be far more impressive than a gun in fiction so is the KND's 2x4 technology. They have flying vehicles capable of spaceflight, various types of hax, hell the moon base can even turn into a giant mech. Granted I don't think they ever go as high concept as Dexter who has stuff like a time machine, but they can definitely compete to some extent to sheer power and versatility. Just a matter of if Dexter's is better or not (I think he is by a good mile but it's not like he's fighting caveman tech)

...weirdly I dont mind it too much. It has a lot of missed potential but I dont mind.
Also AkumaKahn outperformed previous fighting game MUs HeihachiGeese & SabrewulTalbain in views too. Fighting game MUs did not cook for views sadly it seems.
