Tbf, Tom Brevoort may be an editor, but he's never been a writer for Thor, so Idk how fully legible his statement, since writer intent can also vary from editorial intent.They literally said so for Thor vs Vegeta with Thor's speed lol
But like, since this is modern VS, we just ignore what authors say if they think characters are weaker than fan wanked, like with recent MHA Mach 10 speed lore All Might.

As for the All Might thing, again TBF, this technically would be travel speed, while the lightspeed scaling is based on a reaction speed feat.
That and the Mach 10 statement came after the DB, and it honestly wouldn't really change the result much.

Tbf the black flash for JJK wouldnt count either from what i heard on those scaling it, which makes them slower then even the mach 10 from MHA
Also that All Might mostly jumps over straight up running, which wouldnt affect it regardless

Travel speed reaction speed split will never not be funny because at what point can one argue that character can dodge lasers, shit that moves 299,792,458 metres per second, yet character then needs cars and vehicles to move around earth from location to location :V

Idk why one would even associate travel speed to reaction speed, even irl some humans have better speed in some regards then others, a boxer punches faster then a race driver would, but can react to potential accidents on road faster then them

It was a dead celestial so it's a bit questionable if it scales to a regular one. And the versions of Thor and Hulk he regularly fights are the base versions, not the really insane high end ones, like Skyfather Thor for instance. Even his fight against world breaker Hulk, world breaker was apparently holding back so oof.

Isnt skyfather Thor though beyond a herald? Also against world breaker wasnt Sentry in a less stable mind state also? He like refused to face Hulk initially didnt he?

It's mainly with specific amps and techniques that base Thor can get stronger. Plus Sentry being the strongest hero on Earth isn't exactly true given multiple heroes have had better showings than him over the years.
No because world breaker Hulk states later on he held back during their fight.

Black Flash scaling isn't valid for Mahito tier characters, but characters around Gojo's level have pretty good arguments for scaling to it, at least for Death Battle.

Well as long as they actually write everyone in character and not force their animator to have a panic attack in trying both to correct the mischaracterization AND redoing parts of the fight days before the release… we should hopefully be good.
