And you comprehend it wouldnt help him? Doomslayer scales higher then him and tier 1 changed too overtime, that might not even give that rating, so its bunk

Overall, mostly not, but specific episodes were literally voted by fans, MC vs Doomslayer winning the rematch poll of Kickstarter goal and BillDiscord, ColeAlex & WileTom winning actual polls.

In the past, some fanpolls did affect things, such as in 2016 fanpolls had Doomsday winning polls, so they opred to do HulkDoomsday in 2016 instead of HulkBroly.

General popularity does seem to help making episodes happen, but its not guaranteed, at least not at immediate rate.
 
look we know Chief getting belt to ass no if or ands on it no matter what ends you go with for the slayer
the only thing i can see db do is have both tied in speed because there not gonna go with immeasurable slayer

that being said making it work for fight aint hard both characters fight on a similiar scale and slayer aint causing cosmic destruction on screen he just as much of a lore man as kratos only difference he runs on pure meme energy and given db has the weaker character keep up with characters that would turn them into a smear in a heartbeat don't see the issue with this one

However it would be weird if they took Kratos lore into account but not Slayer lore
 
Think Shigahito's gonna be my comfort and personal favourite DB episode (like 10/10), saw some people concerned but Moro cooked again. I don't expect others to feel the same way but I genuinely think this episode blows Deku vs Asta and Zuko vs Todoroki out of the water. (also just think Liam really stepped up his game, both him and DJ cooked in the analysis and editing, especially Shigaraki's)

Funny enough I just recently rewatched Doom (2005) before actually watching the newest DB also spoilers I guess? (For a 20 year old movie lol!) Its probably one of the last times you'll see The Rock play a main character that loses overall and what's funny his character even says "I'm not supposed to lose" near the end of the movie (pretty meta ngl) also I completely forgot Karl Urban was Doomguy before he became more well known for capeshit stuff.


As expected the unironic edgelord beat the literal born hater and even without daddy AFO pulling a Sukana, it's pretty obvious who was gonna win when DB equalized vestiges <=> souls <=> curses.

Great animation (MORO being a MVP as per usual), great voicing acting and pretty good research overall (Glad DB made it pretty clear, even with reasonable liberal JJK scaling for Mahito and making him roughly city level with SoL speed he still gets curbstomped stat wise by Shiggy and even hacks, powers and abilities goes to Shiggy too).

At least an 8/10 episode for me but I haven't properly listened to the battle OST yet plus I've only watched the episode twice, so I don't think I have truly processed all the fight choreography either.

As for next time, even with tier 4 gravity hammer (yes this is a thing apparently, tho I highly doubt DB will buy this lol) and low balling Doomguy's well... EVERYTHING! I believe we've potentially found the biggest stomp this season. The fact Doomguy regularly gets compared to the likes of Kratos and Dante (DB has both at least low multiversal btw) all over the Vs community while one of Chief's best agreed alternative opponents is Captain America (a quintessential street tier hero) says it all and that's assuming Cap doesn't get his Mjornir btw.

He can at least sound less spiteful about it though considering at least by the standards of the time DoomChief had a decent episode while ShadTwo got a really shitty one.

Yeah dude, Ares used his BOUNDLESS BEAST strenght to make some random pillar a five dimensional infinite speed weapon...Jesus man, I know you are better than this, this is on the same level as 6D yog apple scaling
 
I can't imagine we're going to start seeing people bring up Lore Master Chief while also not bringing up Lore Doomguy, are we? As someone who read the first 10-ish books they give him some more concrete numbers and impressive showings than parts of the first 3 games, it's nothing insane.

I don't think Chief even really gets the usual 'MFTL reaction speeds from space ship piloting' that a lot of sci-fi heroes get because most humans don't even pilot at those speeds in lore. It's all up to their AI to do the Slipstream travel. Most pilots in Halo are the low-orbit fighters or Pelicans.

I can see arguments for Cortana being a good ally with her own reaction speeds and hacking, but a few arguments against that as well:

1) She can reactions all she wants, Chief still has to actually move to react to that, and I don't think he's shown any reactions higher than Hypersonic. Chief at the start of Infinite got bodied by a Brute and a few Jackals in a hanger, and has been bodied by bigger enemies before.

2) The fact he's not had Cortana for almost 3 games now, so I don't think she even qualifies as Standard equipment. Again, not going to be salty if they do end up giving her to Chief, but it'd be a little weird.

3) Finally, not to no-limits Vega here, but I don't think we have any evidence that he can be hacked either. Cortana however has shown susceptibility to other influences like Gravemind, so I have to wonder if Argent energy and Hell tech could backfire if she tried.
