DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Alright, can firmly make an announcement. This is the absolute hype!. I've ever been in a loong while. Animation looks incredible and the models look so heat. Moro knows how to bring the hype man.

Actually didn't think of Shiggy bringing in Nomu's in the fight, Kurogiri's warpgate an looks like the same device he used to activate em. Real interested how the set is gonna escalate. I was off the mark with my prediction on casting but still a TADC VA so close enough. Isn't the VA for Shiggy here the one who voiced DIO?

I mean I think it would. Dimensionality does mean higher existence, right?
  1. Even a single +1D would be infinitely above whatever is lesser than it, given it has a spatial axis more where to multiply the other ones (and each spatial direction has infinite points, mind you)
  2. Your phrasing is extremely vague, as "infinitely higher plane of existence" can mean also just a higher hierarchical plane rather than a higher dimension

I think I get it, so if a +1D space is infinitely above say a 5D, it would still be a 6D space, right?

Completely unrelated to anything, but:

I used to be part of the Smash community - and this is what it's come to.
If you ask me, him missing the Melee community was just the tip of the iceberg of something much more complicated going on with him. I think that's just the visible face of the problem.

At this point, nothing would surprise me.

I see a lot of people pointing out the double standard, and Leffen has absolutely no buyers remorse given how he treated Hax$, so people will be more than calling for his leave soon enough.

I'm not a JJK fan or remotely knowledgeable on the story so can anyone give me a TLDR version of what Mahito has done throughout the series? Because I haven't seen this many people actively root for a character's death since Omni Man vs Homelander.

Without giving away major spoilers,
One of the first things he do is:
Made a person get along with the protagonist so he could turn the guy into a monster and have him attack the protagonist, shortly after influencing the same guy to try to kill/harm an entire school and cause a curse to kill the guy's mother, enjoying this whole course of actions, and laughing in his face as the transformed guy's little remaining lifespan ran out and died in front of the protagonist.
Overall, he enjoyed making the protagonist suffer.

Aside from that, he kills off a handful of good characters.
  • Someone who, for the first time, could do things for himself and just wanted to meet up with his friends to see them in person at least once (Preventing him from achieving it).
  • One of the protagonist's mentors (in front of him, obliterating his torso).
  • And he almost killed one of the protagonist's closest friends (in front of him), but it's revealed that she only survived towards the end.

And in general, being a horrible being who transfigured people bodies and souls just because he felt like it (meaning that he deformed their souls/bodies to turn them into monsters without much use of reason, who, if they had any, usually demand to be eliminated while fighting).
