On a more serious note, I do think it's interesting that we are probably the only website outside of some TikTok and YouTube Shorts powerscalers that utilize God of War's lore and story for scaling.

Community definitely overhyped KratosAsura, but honestly this is thinly veined excuse to hate on verdict as well. Where the **** was hate for making Vader planet level despite never blowing up planets? Hypocrites.

I think people are more critical because the animation just wasn’t good. Even on fights you disagree with you can still enjoy the animation and or music. Here the animation is below average in spite of the extra month it took to come out. So you don’t have the animation covering for the writing or research.

I always tell myself that Death Battle having an actual proper competitor show would be cool and interesting. But I always remember that the idea of an actual Death Battle competitor show is very unlikely, and hard to pull off for a variety of reasons.

Folks were going to hate so long as Kratos was any tier above 9-B, being real. I don't think anyone's hating on this fight because of some nuanced, thoughtful powerscaling (because the nuanced thoughtful powerscaling means kratos wins)

Considering that there's a thread here where Legends Vader might get upgraded to Low 1-C (or something like that), yeah, he seems to have been downplayed a lot (granted, they did say that they were mostly focusing on Disney canon Vader, but they still included Legends for that fight).
