I wonder if thats too niche MU at this point.
Kinda feels like Omegaaaaaaa beating DBZ is only viable Digimon MU that could be on the show at this point.

I think the case was with Charizard leading against Agumon, it could win, if not for DB's "Combatants must reach final forms before the end of the match" trend.
But with Digimon physiology, I definitely have my doubts.

Also, warp Digivolution is a thing. Tai uses it with Agumon almost non stop by the end of the first Adventure series.

All things considered I think the connections are pretty good
- Both are villains from anime movies with dubious canonicity (Goku and Vegeta are both dead despite being set after Post Buu, The Digidestines can use Ultimate and Mega despite giving up that ability)
- Both are either formed from combined negative emotions or individuals corrupted by outside forces (Depending on which dub you’re watching)
- Both start off with a more friendly looking design before transforming into a more aggressive state
- Both are mostly “silent” with Jenemba communicating though grunts while Diaboromon only says a few words in certain dubs
- Both have weird powers which most characters in their respective verses just don’t have (Diboromon can multiply indefinitely, Jenemba’s magic)
- Both fight the flagship character and his rival and completely overwhelm them both with them needing to fuse to keep up
- These fusion proceeds to leap frog the villains power levels so hard that the fight takes a complete 180

Uhh, Diaboromon is canon to Adventure. Its also lacking good core theme, ig its that they are pseudo-demons. Gogeta vs Omegamon kinda steals its meta themes too.

He is but again that shit makes no sense when a thing they did in 02 was establish that they got rid of their crests to save the digiworld. They need their crests to go ultimate and mega which makes it's actual placement either absolutely bizarre or just doesn't make sense.

Ehh if one hates stomps Cell vs Digimon just wont work. Might as well use Metal Sonic, its more thematic.
Digimons are ******, its Omega killing Gogeta or nothing. Other MUs are too niche. Takato & Guilmon vs Mega Man.exe and Beelzemon vs Bass.exe were next most requested MUs and even these feel like they wont happen anytime soon. Unfortunate.

I honestly still hope for Cell vs Garou, death battle may not even scale TOEI Cell like this site, if anything they can say they are roughly equal, with one having a little edge over the other in AP, but speed be clearly a winner and all coming down to their powers and skill

Yeah i also think its unlikely that they will have Cell at Universal, i'm not even sure if they buy Universal for Buu (maybe Buuhan).
Assuming they go with Anime/Movies material, he can either end up at Multi-Solar System Level to Multi-Galaxy Level, depend of how they intepretate certain feats.
Speed wise he will range in the Quadrillions of Times FTL to maybe Septillions depend of how they also treat Goku and Pikkon fly.

There was the Pokèmon World Tournament. Red participated in the Champions Tournament, which would scale his team to 2-A.
(Not that it would help him win thanks to Digimon scaling way higher, and Death Battle's rule of only comparing their combatants strongest forms).

Even PWA is fraud because Creation Trio scaling does not work for any consistency. Its modern VS at its most rotten. Everything Reddit casuals complain about Kratos is actually true for 99% of Poke Trainers.

We do know the placement though, its snack dab in the middle between Adventure and 02, which sets up the 2nd series allowing there to be more tamers. It's weird yeah, but it is what it is
