Unless I'm mistaken their main speed calcs were comparable (quadrillions vs quadrillions)
Bowser won physical stats but their cosmic stuff was equalized, which is kind of all that matters stats wise.

I am personally satisfied with their explaination, the episode’s analysis can easily be 10+ minutes longer with the sheer amount of shit they have at their disposal but they did the broad strokes well enough.
I can’t honestly hate the research of this episode.

I think the G1 blog did it better, but whatever. I knew Bowser was going to win for months, now. Everyone who said I was too much of a doomer for relying on what the MAIN RESEARCHER said were wrong, too. It was literally just his arguments but retooled.

Honestly my favourite part of the fight was the fake out death, like for a solid second I even thought that was it until suddenly it was like "oh yeah Dry Bowser lol".
Very happy that, even though it's unfortuently another loss for Sonic, the stats and respect were there. Quadrillions x FTL and cosmic level Super Sonic (And by proxie Eggmans best tech), FTL base characters. Very nice.

In terms of like, animation quality, entertainment, and production this is genuinely a top 3, if not top 1 episode. They put some love Into it, and it shows.

I disagree with the fight HEAVILY (not mentioning some of Sage's abilities, Nightmare Eggman, and Light Man not even being included - though I do like the alternate outcomes showing how it could've gone, and it became super clear who they were going to have win when they had that whole 'Bowser's army is family whereas Eggman is only a schemer' during their run downs which made it less interesting.) This was definetly a super fun fight

Wonder Flower being better than the Ruby because it's real reality warping (and now Egg Field requires prep I guess, which is weird because EVERYTHING in Eggman's arsenal requires prep), transmutation soloing Eggman's army, Pure Hearts negating Time Eater, etc.
Also, I am already getting the salty allegations despite being right about all my doomerism, and getting accusations of wanting Eggman to "stomp" (Even though Ultraguy said Bowser basically stomps). Classic from Death Battle fans, but good on the show for pleasing their fans, I guess.

Y'know my desire to see Infinite get unceremoniously offed by a goomba kinda came true. Dude showed up, did some illusions for a sec then got one shot by a normal ass thwomp while Metal Sonic and the GOAT Sage actually did something useful during the fight.

Man, I think this is tied with Popeye vs Saitama as my 2nd favorite DB fight. It was spectacular, plus Sage and the bots lived in the end.

Honestly, I didn't forget about Dry Bowser but the fake out still got me for one simple reason. Sage was still active, I was over here thinking "OK, when's the part where Sage goes ballistic and starts trying to solos everyone" but the fight just ended there making the conclusion very surprising to me
