DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Spreading misinformation across all sides makes it that you can't trust anything. Essentially this episode is spoiler proof.

i think Bardock is going to win. There is just too many people posting outrageous claims on how Omniman won with the "trust me bro" and "discord leaks". It seems way too manufactured and trying to rile people up with bad arguments like Omnipotus scaling and Sun Disk.

Ill wait until Sunday to see if im right

I've seen different versions of the ending of the sun disk story. I don't know if its real.

Probably is a troll since they aren’t allowed to say. Especially since deathbattle does involve themselves with g1 blogs (iirc they provided the calc/feat for the falling devil in the gojokima blog) so it’d be a bit weird if they had a multi continental calc and said it beat bardock
 
To the credit of Mark Grayson's father, I have heard that there may be Skill, Stamina &/or Speed in favor of the Viltrumite, since Bardock can't maintain SSJ for very long.
Speed may be helped if they don't use the Toei Anime ship meteors feat.
 
Ehh, they found a niche feat and its highend beats Bardock and since DB used it Nolan just beats Bardock.

Niche feats vary from "clever discovery" to "really ******* stupid" and are technically not new in DB.

How's the high end feat's calc go?
 
All I'll say is this, before the episode comes out:

If what we're being told is real, Death Battle is about to earn the shredding that's coming their way, not just from DB fans(both their show and Dragon Ball) but also Invincible fans into debating, because even most of them will tell you the sun disk is ass, especially if they wank it as high as they supposedly are.

Look death battle has made takes a majority disagree with,
but at the same time like, Vs is subjective. It's fine to disagree but every single person, show and site has different standards. Like If the winner
is true very much disagree but still.

Yeah I ain't sold on discord leaks. I mean
there's obviously a chance Omni-Man wins but I have a hard time believing it from just from discord.

Would be funny if the way he wins is accurate tho, being way slower than Bardock but being too strong is hilarious considering most people would have their AP and Speed advantages swapped around.

Very true. Vs is subjective, but if this happens, this is one of those cases where the vast majority will be left wondering what was snorted, for them to rate the sun disk so high, while also putting Bardock's numbers much lower than others have gotten him. I'd at the very least humbly ask for their work, and how they got such outlandish results for the sun disk.(like how it was decided that it's half the size of the star, because that's an enormous leap.)
 
It's hilarious because even if you could get the size disk, it still doesn't scale to anyone as no one moved or even touched it.

To say Viltrumites scale would be taking a statement made at face value, then assuming that correlates to a random ship's laser because the Viltrumite empire is a considered large threat. No visible explosion or debris for KE values, no actual information on what it's made of.

Assumptions about the size of the non-feat.

Taking said non-feat assumptions and tying it back to a statement.

Assuming implications of said statement completely in favor of a 1-1 comparison of the average Viltrumite and a laser beam.

It's quite literally the most bat-shit insane argument. There's a reason why this shit is a meme. Might as well just accept Bowser's 9800 iq.
