Saying that Zeref is stronger than Acnologia is like me saying I'm stronger than Mike Tyson because I have a shotgun.
Neo Eclipse doesn't scale to Zeref's stats in any way shape or form. Hell you can argue that it wouldn't even effect him since Acnologia is well over 400 years old, with Neo Eclipse only being able to revert 400 years exactly. So even with Neo Eclipse, Acnologia would still be around in the distant past since he's older than the amount of years Neo Eclipse is able to reset.
At best Zeref can hope for an incon.

It means a lot and that's how it's mentioned in vsb: zeref > pre sbt acnologia. And Zeref himself was sure that he was going to defeat Acno ever since he got his fairy heart form and he was going to end this whole world with the neo eclipse. And fairy heart has never encountered sbt acnologia with zeref, so everything you say remains inconsistent. (no one here says anything to what the author said, we are just talking among ourselves and according to our logic, it is already so if you take feat>statement, zeref>acnologia comes out)

Nothing supports your claims about Fairy Heart being above SBT Acnologia at all. Human or Dragon. That is what we're trying to say bruh. Neo Eclipse as an ability isn't even relevant here because it isn't some sort of attack he could "use" against Acnologia. All you have is a one off statement from Irene (the fodder) who was incorrect.

Neo eclipse is an environmental destruction attack, so let me put it this way, in order for acnologia to survive this attack, it has to leave the timeline anyway (which acnologia can never do) As I said, zeref wins, even in the sbt that you praise acnologia, zeref is more dominant than him.

There's a massive difference between the claims of "someone who can defeat the other" vs "someone is objectively stronger than the other."
You can argue that Zeref can defeat Acnologia given Neo Eclipse, but Acnologia is definitely stronger than Zeref overall as stated multiple times throughout the series, and by the author themselves.

I feel like people forget that Post-SBT Acnologia absorbed all of the SBT… He became one with Conceptual Time and blatantly stated he surpassed Space-Time itself… So Neo Eclipse wouldn’t work on him most likely

I totally agree, Acno >> Zeref is not even up for discussion. This is a plot just like Kaguya vs Madara or Yhwach vs Aizen.

Zeref wasn't even alive at the time. Zeref was the one who opened the SBT. And if Zeref had gone through the neo eclipse door with his plan. Fairy tail would have already been crushed under Zeref.
Zeref's master key also has a middle divinity, as we both know acnologia can't get through it, so acnologia can never kill zeref. But zeref can kill acnologia. And there is nothing acnologia can do against anksheram, one of zeref's haxes, even if it is said that acnologia can eat magic, it cannot be taken as a sufficient feat unless anksheram eats it and black magic = not magic.
Acnologia has no wincon against Zeref, if there was a battle between them Zeref would have won no diff according to vsb system.
Base Zeref will be enough for Acnologia.

It's not just neo eclipse, there are multiple wincons that zeref can provide to win against acnologia but acnologia doesn't even have one.
