Saint Seiya Discussion Thread (IV)

If only Saint Seiya was popular in America this would never have happened
It’s not popularity, as much as it is the same arguments every thread, which all boil down to power scaling translators, don’t even get me started on “Verse supporters” most are inactive and when they are they show up disagree and never chime back in, just disagreeing because they can, and their words hold more weight because they’re “Verse supporters” That and the garbage outdated profiles that no one wants to remake according to currently accepted standards.

I wasn't referring to arguments regarding that, I was referring to Saint Seiya being more just being a English translations only as the main focus like any other manga series instead there being some divide in the main translations being divided amongst "Spanish", Brazil, English, French communities.

All of the translations, except maybe Viz(Though even that messes up sometimes) are all unreliable especially BR and Spanish who straight up put things that aren’t even mentioned, and or take things out. The most accurate fan translations not done by an official company come from House Of Libra(JP speaker) who does current G stuff

Yeah I figured that might've been the case there, still would be easier to just contest English stuff only, but since Saint Seyia's popularity is even higher in Spanish Countries and Brazil then in U.S (I hear maybe France also is high up there too), people could contact these people from there with translations. Which I don't if the person (with supposedly good credentials) they grab is reliable in that front or not, I can't tell without also knowing my on set of people and talking to others if that's true (Getting people for Japanese to Eng stuff is already hard enough). Juggling around to 3 different languages for a series is just annoying.

Here in Brazil it is very famous, like there for the 1994 hoods until 2010, it was quite famous, if joking was equal in popularity with DB, but the franchise came to be desired after that and nowadays it's very rare for anyone to talk about Saint Seiya around here (despite having a huge crowd of fans in Brazil)

Next Dimension, and the interviews news and all that. Other translators who've done actual scanlations, I'm not really sure who'd be immediately reachable, as like I'm p sure the spinoffs are usually translated by the Brazillian groups, but in general, saintseiyaforos has several who make routine typesets whenever something new comes out

Yea tbh that might be the reasonable course action at this point, just off continuity splits alone the profiles are beyond f'ed up and it certainly doesn't help how most CRTs to try and fix anything hit a wall with no conclusion per translation disagreements and not enough admins to give input
shady go by any other other names when posting to sites?

Look, I found the leaked scene of the Elysium from Hades arc, Saint Seiya classic anime, from 1990-91:

Toei is only gonna do it if they see money in it. You all need to understand that these are businesses focused on making money first and DBZ/Saint Seiya/whatever animators second. If they don’t see any money in it, they won’t do it. Why else do you think Toei has been pushing out DBS films but not another DBS anime?

Throw it in the Fun and Board games then, also Hades still loses because Kratos resists everything due to him having higher layered resistances even if they're hax Potency would be the same.
Oh no, I thought it would be a pretty even fight and I equalized practically everything, only the speed is the same.
