The "God" that Dr. Genus is talking about is not confirmed to be the same one that we see going around and granting powers to people and fighting Blast. It looks to me like he's talking in a general sense.

Massive stretch to say that he's specifically referring to a mysterious, mostly unknown entity that only a handful of humans are aware of. It makes no sense, was never implied once, and at this point in the manga God hadn't even been referenced. At most you could say that it might be foreshadowing (Genus being unintentionally correct I mean), but it's silly to say that Genus actually knows about him and nonchalantly reveals that this being Zombieman has no idea about made all life in existence as if he were casually talking about some random thing with a friend. The weird extra-dimensional being that wants to end humanity called God, and the general human idea of "God" that we sometimes use in common vocabulary, are two entirely different things.

I mean I don’t see the stretch. God even says “i’m taking them back. Your powers, your life”

which implies he’s given them life as well.

I just figured it was one of those Author speaking through the characters moments.

Maybe not now, but it will. It’s not exactly baseless and he can’t take back something he never gave yknow?
It's nigh-baseless considering that the only two pieces of evidence are a small irrelevant line taken at more than face value, and making an extrapolation off of a vague line with lacking context, not to mention those weren't in the same sentence. In fact the "YOUR POWER" "YOUR LIFE" lines are several pages after he says that in a completely different sentence.

That is not remotely enough evidence to even say this is a particularly likely theory, and saying it's literally factually true is just kinda silly. It's just speculation.

Seems pretty straight forward to me. It’ll be added eventually.

Yo is the power of the sneeze estimated purely from the destruction it caused to jupiter, or are we factoring in the fact that what destroyed jupiter was all that was left in saitama's lungs? Like the remaining air particles and a percentage of saliva?
I asked this earlier, and apparently its the former, but could anyone tell me why that is? Like is there any particular reason for leaving the latter entirely out of the equation?

...is it because it doesn't change anything?

How come God doesn't have creation on his profile for creating all life in the universe?
He could also just not... be the creator of the universe and be either a minor deity or poseur.

In fact I bet he's not honestly big G God, in this hypothetical the guy created life, decided he wanted to destroy them later and then got put in time-out by his own creations.

Thats more headcanon, considering there is no mention of another, there is only one god.
And is the one we know

Alexander, this is what we call speculation.

Saying a guy calling himself "God" is creator of the universe is also speculation, we have nothing to confirm or deny that. We only have his implying it

yes of course, psykos said that he was like the structure of the universe, blast told cosmic garou (with a fraction of god power) that he could manipulate the reality of the cosmos, garou can manipulate causality and travel through space-time (and He says that they are all powers of God) yes, of course, perfectly God did not create the universe.

This conversation is pointless as Dr. Genus is not a trustworthy source for the validity of the statement as there's no proof he's even aware of God in the first place.

I think that it should be, but it does not appear very often, which makes him irrelevant

"God" certainly has some choice in how he appears to people, if he's trying to pretend to be the real creator of the universe this is the right thing for him to do.

This doesn't prove there couldn't be multiple gods/god-like entities in the OPM verse, and it's also perfectly plausible "God" is just some powerful guy in the multiverse with cosmic awareness, power bestowal and space-time manipulation. If OPM goes like DC or Marvel, those powers could end up leaving "God" in a sort of Galactus or Eternity or Dormammu situation as opposed to being something like The One Above All or The Presence

I'm not sure what we have here that says he's certainly the one and only and wouldn't also make sense in any other hypothetical scenarios.

another headcanon, continue to assume that there is more than one god without proof of this.

alexander 1:you idiot.
alexander 2:yeah i know that.

xela:I come from a reverse universe, where my name is different, I don't have time to talk, but I have to contain a level 6 anomaly, before it causes a cosmic error, which resets the time line.
Alexander 4: why are you here?
xela: because, I am your father
alexander 4: my father is giovanni
xela: You didn't understand the reference right putting a bunch of codes and numbers in a holographic computer Okay, now cover your ears, the explosion will be equivalent to more than 10,000 decibels.
alexander 4 covers his ears
xela: forget it, it was just this puts an anti-paradox bubble well, now, you won't have to receive an explosion that will reset the multiverse. A
lexander 4: Wait what? an explosion occurs and then a computer crash
computer:loading simulation,errors fixed.
