man do the Chinese servants get the short end of the stick sometimes
There are good Chinese servants too. QSH, Lanling Tai Gong Wang, Sanzang, Chen Gong, Wu Zetian, Old Man Li, Taisui, Yang Guifei. Summer Yu is also good. Lancer Li is alright. Lu Bu is insane for one turn DPS.

Oh and Waver and Reines are technically Chinese servants because they're Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi.

thank you for the info

and actually I actually (this is my opinion) found liangyu to be broken a little bit because I used castoria

and because of this I can make liangyu loop her np. And that makes her more useful.

i am so glad to have castoria because of this

Btw you have to realize liangyu can also be useful for one other thing.

she’s Orion’s kryptonite

Got Sigurd on my GSSR btw, which is my #4 on that banner so that's pretty cool. I also got 5th copy of Chiyome and 1st copy of Summer Fran. I threw a multi and some ticket to finish the singles and got Melt after that. This is officially my luckiest day in FGO.

I got Iskandar who’s one of my fave Fate characters, so yeah. I’ll take solace in getting the King of Conquerors into my Chaldea.
Considering Iskandar is one of the servants with the least amount of rate-ups, not bad if you like him
But no Castoria does feel bad =/

Question:
  • If they get a profiles, Kriemhild and Tametomo would have a 2 keys for their empowered by grails, right?
  • What feats that Tametomo and Miss Bakin has done so far?

Idk if they should. We did not give Amakusa Shirou & other Holy Grail amped beings keys for that. Then again, we could change that if it’s better that way lol

Also, speaking of Amakusa Shirou: I was looking through the untranslated raws of the Fate/Apocrypha LN volume 5 and found this: his Big Crunch is said to be exactly a black celestial body/black hole, as opposed to some ‘pseudo-black matter’.

We actually do have some grail amped keys. Cu Alter, Tesla, and Altera all have grail amped keys. Technically Salter should have one too, but not enough to go on for her. Ozy deserves one though, with the ability to summon Amun-Ra I think he gets a few more things on top of that. I honestly don't remember Okeanos to know who had the grail from Goetia there. I think Blackbeard and Medea Lily/Jason, but idk if they have any amped feats there. Kingu had the grail in Babylonia, but uhhh ... he scales way higher for different reasons. Cas Gilles had it in Orleans, but I don't remember what he did there

When was Amakusa grail amped?

Huh... I did not know that. Guess it checks out to give them Grail-amped keys.

And Amakusa Shirou I think merged his Magical Circuits with the Greater Grail in Fate/Apocrypha lol

Wait really? That's weird cause Sieg still stalemates him and eventually overpowers him. Even without grail assistance Amakusa is around servant level still. I thought he just made a wish on the grail. Or maybe he just used that connection to use Twin Arm Big Crunch?

Well, from what I picked up of the LN's Raws of Volume 5, the clash between Jeanne's La Pucelle & Amakusa Shirou's Big Crunch left him with around half of his peak power and 80% of the Greater Grail destroyed. It weakened him. And tbf... Sieg was using Fran's powers. Still think it was unsatisfactory as to how he got them.

Also, yeah. He used the connection to use Big Crunch. The raws suggest he was using the Grail's energy to create it.

i'm currently trying to farm secret gem of lancer for my qin liangyu

i just really like her that's all.

and i'm also farming secret gem of saber in order to make my musashi stronger

What feats that Tametomo and Miss Bakin has done so far?
You know speaking of Tametomo, his NP creates a lunar eclipse you know, assuming he can use it on any day you could wank that pretty reliably kek

Edit: We could even scale it to A-Rank NP's lmao maybe Comicvine weren't crazy after all

Minamoto no Tametomo's

Default

Exceptional skill, superior physical strength, and an inhumane physique.
A combat machine possessing such qualities suddenly appeared in an age of warfare.
The man who called himself Chinzei Hachirō was feared or perhaps revered by the people.
A hero who was out of step with the times and was outside the realm of mortals from the beginning.

────Just what was that arrow originally meant to shoot?

Bond 1

Height/Weight: 232cm/190kg
Source: Historiocal fact, "Chinsetsu Yumiharizuki" etc.
Region: Japan
Alignment: True Neutral
Gender: Male

Since it was impossible to actually measure his weight, it was given by the person in question saying "If I were a human, it'd be around this much".

Bond 2

He was born in the 5th year of the Hōen era (1139) to a military commander, Minamoto no Tameyoshi, and a prostitute.
Just like his father, Tameyoshi, mentions in the following: "Tametomo is by far my youngest child and has just come of age, but his skill with the bow and arrow surpasses that of all of ye in Chizen and that of my other children; I dare say he is an expert greater than even our ancestors", Tametomo was a young man renowned for his military prowess from an early age...or so they say.

However, perhaps due to this might of his, he fell out with his elder brothers.
His father, Tameyoshi, ended up banishing him to Kyūshū.
There, he distinguished himself with his strength and was named "Chinzei Hachirō".
However, since he did not respond to the summons of the Imperial Court, his father was made to experience the bitter misfortune of being dismissed from the position of police and judicial chief.
For his father's sake, Tametomo led his forces to Kyoto, but he ended up getting dragged into the Hōgen Rebellion there.
He joined his father on the side of the Emperor but was defeated.
His father was executed and Tametomo was exiled to Izu Ōshima.
However, since he continued to plunder the neighboring islands even after that, the Imperial Court dispatched troops against him.
Driven into a corner, Tametomo self-destructed...he committed suicide.

Tametomo boasted a height of more than seven shaku (212 cm), an unprecedented height for a Japanese of his time, and is said to have wielded a bow so rigid that no ordinary man could draw it.

Bond 3

○Chinzei Hachirō A
Another name Tametomo was known by. Running wild in the region of Kyūshū where he was exiled, he left behind many anecdotes. He could shoot down two people at once with a bow and arrow so massive that no ordinary man could use them...even such legends exist.

○Indomitable Arrow Shooting B
When he was defeated in the Hōgen Rebellion, Tametomo had the tendons in his arms severed, but they were mysteriously restored.
One theory suggests that the hydraulic cables in his arms were replaced. No, no such theory exists.

○Mechanical Archery EX
An example of the firing sequence is as follows:

Moon Shaft Checked
Buster Arrow System 96% Loaded
Pile Drive Foot Lock Connected
...Shooting down the target!

Tametomo detects and locks on to hostile reactions before activating an automatic tracking system.
Or, he releases arrows aimed at locations that would guarantee the death of the target with the greatest efficiency. This is undoubtedly archery.

Bond 4

"Ship-Sinking Crescent Moon"[1]

Rank: B+
Classification: Anti-Vessel Noble Phantasm
Range: 5~50
Maximum number of targets: 1 ship (as a matter of convenience)

Gouchin・Yumiharizuki.
Also called, The Warship Sinks Under My Crescent Moon.
The reenactment of the anecdote where he sunk an enemy ship with a single arrow.
It should be noted that he didn't get serious back when his target was a simple ship made out of wood, but now that he became a Servant, he'd rather go full power.
Furthermore, since Mystery increases on the sea (on the water), in the present age, even an Aegis-class cruiser would suffer fatal damage from a single shot, and it would be difficult for even a nuclear submarine to escape from his arrows.

The continuous use of the Noble Phantasm puts a considerable burden on him and takes fairly long, but he uses his ingenuity to keep his opponents at bay by pressuring them with a series of shots when they think there is an opening, or by dividing his arrows into three.

Bond 5

Originally, he was a combat machine designed to be used against oni species and yokai, created by recycling the technology of the Settsu-Style Large Armor.
However, he was sealed in an incomplete state due to the decreased appearance rate of oni species and youkai.
After a long period of time, he was released from the seal, and the engineers of the time made up for his unfinished parts, and he was completed for the time being as a samurai unit for use against armies.
Perhaps as a result of his completion taking so many years, the engineers in charge added a considerable number of original elements to his manufacturing process so the origin of the technology used for him is now uncertain.
(The source of the technology used in the manufacturing of the Settsu-Style Large Armor is also unclear)

He might possess a calm and cool-headed thought process, but he hates to lose to an absurd extent, and while he has no interest in authority, having his way takes precedence first and foremost. Almost nobody knows that he is a machine, and only his image as a firm and frank armored warrior has been handed down to future generations.
In his own words, "If you act all confident, you won't get exposed, surprisingly."

You know speaking of Tametomo, his NP creates a lunar eclipse you know, assuming he can use it on any day you could wank that pretty reliably kek

Edit: We could even scale it to A-Rank NP's lmao maybe Comicvine weren't crazy after all
Okay thats too much assumption so let's not go there

Its already translated, just forgot to post about it.
Kyokutei Bakin (Rider) Bond Profile 1-4
One of Japan’s most exemplary writers during the late Edo period.
Her works include the “Nansō Satomi Hakkenden (The Eight Dog Chronicles)” and the “Chinsetsu Yumiharizuki (A Wonder Tale: The Moonbow)”. She also wrote “Keisei Suikoden” and “Kinse Setsu Bishōnen Roku”.
Many of her works were illustrated by the ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai, including the “Chinsetsu Yumiharitzuki”, which was popular at the time.

Born into a samurai family, and having a prideful heart, she had a natural talent for gesaku literature, and became one of Japan’s first full-time professional writers.

Bond 1:

Height / Weight: 157 cm, 45 kg
Source: Historical Fact
Region: Japan
Attribute: Lawful Neutral
Gender: Female (Physically)

The ears and tail are decorative!

Bond 2:

True Name- Takizawa Okikuni (滝沢興邦).
As a writer and shop proprietor, she went by the penname “Kyokutei Bakin”.
She has a lot of pride, a respect for discipline, and a methodical personality.
She’s very well-versed when it comes to both Eastern and Western folklore and history, and is also particularly fond of ’hakuwa shosetsu’ (white-speech novels) like “Suikoden (The Water Margin)”.
Additionally, she’s knowledgeable about medicine and Confucianism.

Born as the fifth son to a shogunate vassal.
Before becoming a professional writer, she served under the Matsudaira family as a shogunate vassal, worked a bookstore clerk and a footwear merchant, and had a writers apprenticeship.
At the age of 24, she aspired to become a gesaku writer.
At the age of 36 she traveled to Keihan, and after interacting with the literati in the Kyoto-Osaka reigons, she started energetically publishing a series of ’yomihon’ (reading books).
Before long, the romance novel “Sanshichi Zenden Nanka no Yume” and full-length novel “Chinsetsu Yumiharitzuki” gained massive acclaim, and established her as a leading gesaku writer.

She also formed a friendship with Katsushika Hokusai, and let him stay at her own home for a few months.
Bakin was 39, Hokusai was 46, and Oei was around 6 years old.
Bakin was a large man over 180cm tall, and it’s said that Hokusai was also over 180cm, so they were a large pair that tended to stand out.

Bond 3:

Tokimura Michi (土岐村 路).
The step-daughter of Kyokutei Bakin after marrying into the Takizawa family.
Born into the family of a doctor in Kanda, Edo.
With a talent for dancing, she was the essence of an Edo town girl.
During her homemaking training, she was dedicated to the Matsudaira family and worked in the Ooku of Edo Castle.

As Bakin’s vision deteriorated over time, Michi took the place of his eyes and brush, and his writing continued through dictation.
The completion of the 28-year long saga “Nansō Satomi Hakkenden” would not have been possible without Michi.
Learning to read and write difficult Chinese characters, all while acquiescing to the demands of the perfectionist Bakin was difficult, but Michi was successful and lived up to expectations.
Because she serves as the eyes for the Servant “Kyokutei Bakin”, she’s also the basis of their appearance.

Eight Dog Warriors (Hakkenshi)
Puppy familiars that symbolize Bakin’s bittersweet acts of literary creation.
【仁】(Co-humanity) Shimbei. The youngest that often causes trouble with Dousetsu.
【義】(Righteousness) Sosuke. A rough dog that tends to lose their level-headedness.
【礼】(Propriety) Daikaku. A real good boy, also a bit anxious.
【智】(Wisdom) Keno. Absolutely beautiful, but tends to fight with Shino.
【忠】(Loyalty) Dousetsu. Boisterous and short-tempered.
【信】(Sincerity) Genpachi. Despite being young, they show signs of great strength.
【孝】(Filial Piety) Shino. Dignified, but if you were to put it in less nice terms, they’re impudent and brash.
【悌】(Respect) Kobungo. They’re just a bit of a glutton.

Bond 4:

Intrinsic Nature (Svabhava): B
The name is originally a Buddhist term that refers to one’s bodily essence.
However, here it refers to the unique nomenclature that Bakin used extensively within her works.
For example, the ‘Fushi’ in 'Fushihime’ has the meaning of 'man following dogs’.
Naming is both a prayer of creation and a curse of correctness.
In magic, the elucidation of the true name of something is essential for controlling it.

Dutiful Eight: A

仁 (Ren)・義 (Yi)・礼 (Li)・智 (Zhi)・忠 (Zhong)・信 (Xin)・孝 (Xiao)・悌 (Ti)

The eight virtues that a person must possess.
As the princess Fushihime took her own life, the eight beads- each reflecting a different character- were scattered, and eventually became the eight gems that birthed the Hakkenshi.
A mysterious spirit bead that imbues the dog warriors with the power of Fushihime.

Gesaku Concentration: A
The hectic days of Kyokutei Bakin, who devoted every moment to writing gesaku.
The bond between father and daughter-in-law, as Michi supported him through his blindness.

Bond 5:

“The Eight Dog Chronicles”

Rank: A
Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
Range: 1 ~?
Maximum capture: 98 people

Nansō Satomi Hakkenden.

With the divine blessings of the gods and Buddha, the goddess Fushihime runs along the skies on the back of her Yatsufusa. The poetic justice that pervades “Hakkenden” manifests its indomitable will like the flash of a spiritual blade, striking down the enemy.

Bond 5 (Extra):

Fushihime (or Fusehime).

A character from “Nansō Satomi Hakkenden”.
The eldest daughter of Yoshizane Satomi, who was descended from the Nitta Genji clan, and founded the Awa Satomi clan.
“The one who takes the head of the enemy general shall marry Fushihime” was the promise Yoshizane capriciously made, and resulted in her staying in Mt. Toyama with Yatsufusa in order to fulfill said promise.
Soon after receiving Yatsufusa’s spiritual energy, Fushihime’s stomach began to grow. As she was suspected of committing an unforgivable act by her father, she disemboweled herself in order to prove her innocence.
Beads wreathed in spiritual energy scattered in all directions, soon to dwell within eight Dog Warriors (Hakkenshi) of the Satomi clan.
From then on, Fushihime became a goddess that protected the Satomi clan from a distance.
Her first-person pronoun is ‘Wanami’ (吾㑪).
A valiant and brave personality that doesn’t tolerate injustice.
The Servant’s physical age is based on Fushihime.

Yatsufusa

Another figure from “Nansō Satomi Hakkenden”.
An extraordinarily grand dog raised by tanuki. He cherishes Fushihime with all his heart.
Taking Yoshizane’s joke to heart, he bested the enemy general and returned with the generals head in his mouth.
Through Fushihime’s sutra chanting, he was able to overcome the curses that resided within his body.
Unfortunately, he was shot and killed at gunpoint, but after his death became a spirit dog and divine familiar alongside Fushihime.

I mean ... it's bulletproof yeah.
Especially his Origin Bullets as actual physical defense is enough to protect from it.
Though he likely does have Armor Piercing guns and ammo.
