Revy, Spike Spiegel, Gene Starwind, Star-lord, Predator, the Prophet, the Arbiter, Garrus Vakarian, Boba Fett, Samus Aran, Mega Man X, KOS-MOS, Aleph ... A big list indeed.

Meanwhile sneak peek will come out at tomorrow's Death Battle Cast live.

Edit: Wanda can "slow and stop time", so it is "chaos control" and "za warudo", not "time huh". Unless she actually had time huh at some point.

Sneak peek of BM Yates' latest work:
Character versus matchup music for W.D. Gaster vs The Puppet

Sorry for any offense but sometimes I wonder why people are paying out a Switch every 3 months or even more for music for matchups like this.

Well considering how banging this sounds that’s probably why. People can enjoy things.
Well I have confidence Brandon Yates and Werewolf Therewolf could make any music bang if they decide to.
My question is: why is there such a big gap among the matchups that (a) the casual audience, (b) the different circles of character versus debaters, (c) people who actually commission artists for music, (d) the Death Battle crew and (e) others I may have not captured.
As if the group c actually have their own tastes of matchups different from the versus debaters and the casual audience.

S5 calcs and scalings are surprisingly bad in hindsight.
I said this months ago
I'm fine with Magneto vs Tetsuo and Thor vs Vegeta cause those fights can be fun done right

Jiren vs Sentry is lame and boring when Sentry has better like Saga

Piccolo vs MM isn't not even a Bad MU just one that suffers heavily in how one sides it is

I don't even need to comment of Doomsday vs Cell

Turns out when your origin wasn’t retconned 20 times it’s much simpler to go over, and you can move on to the rest of the stuff.
But most importantly…
Boomstick said Capeshit
Boomstick said "capeshit" lol
I kinda take credit along with others for promoting that term from 4Chan to here and several vs servers

Out of curiosity, what Xeno matchups would you make for a Marvel or DC character?

  • Like I said, Krelian (Xenogears) was my choice for a Lucifer Morningstar MU.
  • Since Fei Fong Wong is my pick for Simon the Digger, you could take that as Fei Fong Wong vs Kyle Reiner (for what that's worth)
  • Darkseid ended up an HM on my Albedo MU charts at one point. Not sure how much I still stand by that these days.

Eh... that's about it. Maybe I'll throw out a few names and recommend you research compatible Marvel/DC MUs at your leisure:

- Lin Lee Koo (XCX): Co-side character, major engineering buff with a ditzy personality and a knack for cooking. You know these tropes when you see them.

- Gwin Evans (XCX): Minor character with a late best friend who is also his crushes brother, said BF who died in a planet bust. Swordie ig.

- Emeralda Kasim (Xenogears): Artificial human built from scratch by an 'alternate timeline' version of related main characters (in this case Fei and Elly (Fei under the alias of Kim Kasim)). Eventually 'grows up' to be a unit for current day incarnations of these characters.
SIDE NOTE: Nebula (MCU) recently came up on my radar, but I cannot speak on the viability of her because I have no interest in the MCU.

- Nephilim Verum & Abel (Xenosaga): Subconscious archetypes of god tiers that act as forms of communication with any number of main(s), and acts as entities that assist in the resetting of the universe. Abel is retconned explained in Saga III to be one of the names by which U-DO is described, and Nephilim has a 'my past life' arc in 'A Missing Year'. Doesn't need to be a 2v2, I just thought I'd tackle them together given their narrative applications are similar.
FUN FACT: Did you know that Abel is actually on the Autistic Spectrum, as explained by an early draft of III's database (for what that's worth knowing Testament page makes this a discredited article)?

Out of curiosity, would YHVH(SMT) work for Albedo?

Out of curiosity, would YHVH(SMT) work for Albedo?

Not to my knowledge. Gods like YHVH aren't psychopathic (at least not in the traditional sense), and the entire point of Albedo is that he's an actual person (albeit artificially created) with a talent that he sees as a curse, which puts him in contempt with humanity up until his crave for death is fulfilled.
