Pretty sure she's referring to the sudden power up
The whole what...was that? With the whole pause suggests confusion which aligns more with not being able to react or see what happened.

Then again we'd just be arguing semantics and it was more of a back up point anyways.

In the webcomic GS barely does any actual damage (while she is on her deathbed) and is even the one to say she had a barrier up (also do you have a scan for the brain hemorrhage bit since it's been awhile since I read the fight)
He hurt her and hurt a lot

The moment of attack

She wounded on the ground after the attack

Zombieman saying she was in bad condition
Which is what we described as her passive barrier, since it's depicted differently from the manual physical barriers and she says on the next page "What was that?" suggesting she literally didn't know what hit her.

No, this is the common barrier around an Esper's entire body, it can create other types of force field as well. To be something passive, even being caught by surprise, you must defend it.

She had wounds prior to being attacked by him
Despite her injuries could be refering to literally everything that has happened (mainly Psykos' attack, let's be real)

Why would she be surprised by the beam if she was using a common barrier to defend against it.

And the beam literally caught her by surprise and she took 0 damage meaning she defended against it.

my post above shows that this is not what happened
Your post only showed her getting "blitzed" (golden himself states she defended against it) and it's never shown that golden gave her brain damage and is much more likely it was Psykos since she used a psychic attack towards Tatsumaki's head (I forgot if it was actually stated so if it wasn't then it's way more likely for Psykos' attack to be the cause of her hemorrhage then GS)

No, she was completely fine before she was beaten.

Fine here

You guys give Psyco from webcomic too much credit, she didn't do anything

I don't know, it wasn't me who brought this from the lightning to the argument, please show when he was caught off guard by this lightning without being covered in energy or something

Then explain how she was without bleeding before GS hits and after she was covered in blood

If it works like mob psycho (and it very likely does considering she didn't get pasted by the continent slicer) then all espers have a passive barrier that works all the time including while being asleep and an active barrier ( the orb shaped barrier) that can block attacks equal to their AP before shattering.

Going by that you would actually need comparable AP to hurt Tatsumaki. If we are being generous, PS should at least be within 1000x below her AP to deal microchip damage with a massive Speed blitz.

Oh yeah I should have mentioned in the viz version they're going back in time.

Time-manip for Plat and Garou, a well deserved buff.

I also love how they translated "God's" response to Tatsumaki rejecting his offer.

Im' not seeing it

It says they have "absolute faith in the power they possess", meaning they're just confident in how strong they are, and that the idea of a powerful opponent basically just acted as a shot of adrenaline to their fighting spirits. It's like saying someone has resistance to fear manip if the idea of skydiving excites them while it scares another person. They're just seemingly ready and anticipating to fight someone renowned as strong

Ooh you know him? How's he like.
While I you weren't asking me, I have seen Smurf's behaviour from Twitter and Reddit and can say that overall, he's a pretty chill guy however he does tend to drag his complaints alot and on Reddit he shares rather unpopular opinions that tend to get him jumped or clowned on a bit regardless of whether they make sense or not.

He's also a good artist
