Sounds like a cool matchup, I don’t think DB would do something with too little connections unless it’s under some circumstances, so maybe you don’t have to worry about Robin vs Lana
Some fights feel kinda lackluster in connections, or at least really surface value. Like "the fans want this matchup, lets just do it already" or "we really want to use the character...just pick the least bad option and lets do this"

Goro VS Machamp is one of my favorite episodes they've ever done, but was it really that strong of an idea? They have four arms, use martial arts, and...that's basically it.

Kinda get where I'm saying? Not every DB choice feels like it was "The One", so I'm still hesitant since Lana has gotten more requests than Welkin from my experience looking at MU discussions.

...as in, she's been requested and Welkin hasn't. We're talking FE matchups, they're not exactly a hot topic, lol.

DB has a habit of downplaying the winner to make the fight seem more fair than it actually is.
See, and that's a bit frustrating for me, I haven't liked when the post analysis does that. In particular, Blake Vs. Mikasa and Mechagodzilla Vs. Dragonzord come to mind where the black boxes even mention that there were better feats...they just weren't mentioned.

It feels dishonest, even when they're right and it didn't change the fight. It looks like a "Bro, just trust me" where they come off like they're trying to hide something, yet at the same time trying to assure you not to question it. Its feels bad for credibility.

In terms of Metal Sonic vs Zero, that would probably stay the same. Since that episode they’ve given the MMX cast Planet level scaling, and the g1 blog for that episode Zero Swept the vote, and 3 of the people who worked on that blog are now members of the official research team. (Grand Blazer, Strunton, and KirbyKid).

What

1. what poster boy
2. context
Ryu vs Jin

They gave Ryu the win by basically giving him manga, aftermath, comics and a crossover feat with false scaling to a god tier to claim he wins, meanwhile Jin was given just irrelevant feats and denied of stuff which Ryu was given permission to have

Later in Heihachi vs Geese they fixed most of all that, yet it left a bad taste in the mouth, let alone certain individuals believing their bullshit and defending it as accurate with no proof of that besides their bias, they know who they are

Ryu vs Jin is accurate and Geese should have beaten Heihachi because Tekken doesn't have any feats above 7-A, cry about it

I get where you're coming from, but in GoroChamps case, four arms is more of a notable feature than le book, i mean do you know how many book users there are?

That G1 blog was preeeeetty bad tho, using Archie feats and yet still saying Metal would lose
