Nintendo-Dragalia-Lost-3
For those who aren't aware, Nintendo has released several games on mobile devices, such as Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Super Mario Run, or likely the most notable of these, Fire Emblem Heroes.

However, there is one other mobile game released by the company, one which doesn't rely on any other IP to make it's way, and has become the second-most popular game on Nintendo's mobile game front, aside from Fire Emblem Heroes. And this game is known as Dragalia Lost, from developer Cygames.

And today, I'd like to discuss this wonderful game, and explore the possibilities of adding this game to the wiki. Because this game has a lot of story and a lot of opportunities to scale from something, for both humans and dragons.

Plus this game is just oozing with personality and charming characters, and it'd be a crying shame to just ignore it.

Dragalia Lost? More like DAOKO Lost amirite.

Seriously though, yes Nintendo puplished it, but Cygames is the one who actually developed it, they deserve as much mention, not only Nintendo.

Thats my 2 cents as a Cygames fanboy, i played the game for a small time frame but arent currently, so i will not be much of help here. I will someday post a Cygames Cosmology blog and Dragalia Lost being a Cygames IP might be connected too, so stay tuned and look out for connections!

Huh. Yeah, I suppose that's a fair enough statement. I'll patch my boo-boo in the OP.

I've honestly been meaning to pick the game up, I've just been busy with my own projects. With my big PAD Proposal finish I could probably sit down and help with another mobile game verse!

That'd be swell! I really could use all the help I can to get this one underway.

Okay, so after finding out that the Dragalia Lost Wiki is actually a thing, I found something that could be used for scaling, at least for the human characters. (Gonna have to work a little harder for the dragons, unfortunately.)

This feat comes from Joe, a Fire-aligned archer who sees excitement in gambling with his own life. Now, while the feat isn't shown directly, in his second Character Story, he's challenged to knock an arrow into a particular branch, and manages to not only do this, but also sends the tree flying.

Joe: "...That the right branch?"
Euden: "I...think?"

Euden: "It's a little hard to say when you sent the whole tree flying."

Joe: "Oh, I hit it. Trust me, I don't miss."

Elisanne: "Now hold on just a moment. How does an ARROW send a TREE soaring through the air?!"

Elisanne: "And why was the arrow on FIRE?! What manner of trickery is this?!"

Joe: "There's no tricks to it, your ladyship— just my blastfire bow. Guess you could say it's my trademark."

So, while I'm absolutely confident there are better feats out there, particularly from the fiends and characters who are able to one-shot them, this is a pretty good starting point.

Pfft...the mental image of an arrow soaring through the air and suddenly taking a whole tree with it is one of the funniest things I've thought about in a while. Even if this isn't the full extent of thier power, this might be my favorite feat in a looooong time.

Sounds like a perfectly good starting place, this needs looked into ASAP.

It's worth noting that the branch Elisanne points out to Joe happens to be a fairly thin one and at a fairly good distance from him, as he makes a comment on this earlier in the conversation. This actually puts more emphasis on how powerful his arrows are.

Joe: "How about you point to a tree and I'll feather it for you. Go on, take your pick."
Elisanne: "...Very well. It's a bit far, but let's see you hit that branch there."

Elisanne: "Land an arrow within three attempts and I'll consider it a passing grade."

Joe: "That branch there? Hmm, it's awful thin... You're not making this easy on me."

Sure give it a try, its not like trying it to see if you like it will cause any problems. Plus we are in a Gala now which has the best rate ups ofr 5 Stars.

As far as gacha games go, I would highly recommend Dragalia. It's full of nice graphics, amazing music, good gameplay, and a really great plot. And every character feels unique, despite many playing to common tropes.

And the game is extremely fair on it's pay-to-play aspect as well, being more than generous with the amount of gems which you can use to summon characters.

I mean, sure. But, since you see the physical tornadoes being launched as attacks, I would guess one could calculate those to a more exact number.

The same could be said for various explosions that are seen throughout the game. Also, one of the Six Greatwyrms, Jupiter, can summon thunderclouds and lightning with ease.

Yes. Thank you. It is the one-year anniversary of the game. A lot has happened since it's been released, with Dragalia now being the second-most popular mobile game Nintendo has published. (Not even touching Fire Emblem Heroes at number one, though.) And with new, exciting content on its way, such as a crossover with Mega Man for some reason, I'm excited for what the next year has in store for us.

Still would like to get this on VS Battles in some way, at some point.

...I'm sorry, the had a crossover with Mega Man?

I really need to get around to finally playing Dragalia, I keep sitting on it when I'm clearly missing out here.

No, the Mega Man crossover hasn't happened yet. It's coming this winter, and there's gonna be more info on it coming October 1st.

Well...sounds like as good as time as any to get started then, cause I have to know how that crossover is going to work out.

That's really weirdly cool, genuinely, I love it.

Luckily, thanks to the Gala Dragalia Showcase event that's happening right now, you can score up 5 Star characters much more easily than normal via summoning, so it really is a good time to jump into it.

Also, there's an upcoming raid involving a dragon that can manipulate time. Canon Time Manipulation in Dragalia Lost is a thing now.

I've actually got the download pending on my really terrible internet, so as soon as it's through...I gues sI'm jumpping into the event!

I gotta make notes of everything interesting and useable for profiles, so we can get around to them too.

I rolled Gala Sarrise from today's free roll, no Prince though but I still have 100 ticket rolls and 50,000 Wyrmrite as well as tomorrow's 10 pull.

Well it does very much look like a galaxy, though I don't know if the wiki will or will not accept it as one simply because it looks like one.

Also I got all the Gala units.

Well, when the one-shot attack lands, you see a golden glowing dot zooming away from the scene, which is obviously Chronos.

Perhaps that could be used to scale to size? Or is that too unclear of a view to really rely on?

Now back to this

......no

First of all that kind of lowball

And that is just a light shine from Chronos.

doesn't mean in anyway that we should use it to scale his size to the attack.

Fair enough. I've thought on this topic after I made the post, and I figured it was a long-shot.

I think from what seen here and the fact that Dragalai lost and GBF is highly possibly connect....that mean both verse can S C A L E
