Welp one last discussion thread likely before the final moments of DBS for now. So now with a revolutionary showing it is possible for a 30 sec episode ******* miracles happened bois And now goku and buff jiren square off while frieza is paste. Let's see how bodied frieza is by the end of this. One last meme for the road likely and I have a 6-7 thread making streak kek

There's some contradiction going on now. Jiren can't be beat by UI goku, so I guess it's irrelavent now.

SSG lost badly to Beerus

SSB got rekt at first by Golden Frieza, then rekt by Hit then Rekt by Black then rekt by Jiren

Jiren been beating the crap out of Goku for like 20 episodes now, with Goku coming with power up every time and Jiren beat him anyway, why draining this shit for so ******* long and give Goku 2 New form only to lose to Jiren anyway?they been hyping this crap for months
 
Not that I am saying I didn't expect Goku to lose somehow, the moment they tried ot hide Frieza from the screen I knew they will pull something with him at the end and he will be the one of finish Jiren off

but Having Goku losing in his new form AGAIN is BS
 
ZERO sums up my thoughts. You hyped up this strong form, but then have it immediately lose. Not only that, we have Jiren who just has this random form, pulling power ups out ass worse than the U6 saiyans ever did. Where is all this power of Jiren com8ng from? I have defended DBS for so long. However, my issue is that it introduces so much cool stuff, but never explains it. They better have a good reason here. Like some technical BS like Goku can only stay in MUI for a short period of time. This time I want something reasonable.
 
Sorry to say, but the asspull is only from goku. Jiren has been established since 93, to be unbeatable even by hakaishin standards. Jiren isn't pulling any asspulls. All the asspulls come from goku
 
Jiren got his power by training. He just never bothered to show the full extent of it until now.
 
The only way I can accept this is if they come with excuses like Goku can only fight with UI for short period of time then Jiren take the chance and knock him off, this way you won't make UI look bad after all this hype and won't go the traditional route with the MC winning

If Jiren gonna blow Goku aways like a little bitch while in UI then GTFO

Not really complaining about Jiren's power as much I am complaining about the way they wrote this, they made big fuss over the UI Omen then it loses to Jiren because incomplete and ran out of time, okay cool, then we wait 20+ ep for the rematch, then we had to put up with all the SSB vs Jiren BS while knowing fully it won't pay off even if they fight him for years

Then the true rematch begin, Goku can fight Jiren head on and even get the upper hand with UI Omen, the BS start with MUI asspull, it was totally out of place and not needed, not just that, he also lost anyway to Jiren, just what was the point of White Hair Goku? yeah selling more figures but besides that?

Giving Goku a lot of asspulls power-ups and losing to Jiren, again and again, doesn't make Goku look any good either, I know some people will try to defend this by saying oh they don't go the shounen route by having the main character win but this been the case for every damn arc in super

Having your MC lose every fight doesn't stand for good writing either at all, especially when you hype his ass to the moon

I never complained about Goku being the protagonist. DB is about Goku, simple as that. Goku has yet to win in a proper arc. Goku got not one but two new transformations and he still loses to Jiren. Now, I don't mind Goku losing as much as Jiren winning. Jiren SHOULDN'T WIN, especially since MUI Goku was blitzing him hard at the end of episode 129. I'm sorry but **** THIS SHIT!!!. I repeat, **** THIS SHIT!! (sorry if I sound like an angry fanboy lol)
 
Your bias is showing. There's nothing wrong with goku loosing to a being that is above a hakaishin.

Lmao I said that I didn't mind Goku losing. I am pissed at Jiren winning despite 2 new transformations that were stated to be unlike anything ever seen before. And just so you know, MUI Goku is above hakaishin too.

Both are bad in my opinion. Jiren for being that strong without any reason or God training. And Goku pulling a form out of nowhere. Not to mention that UI was thought a technique and not a form which does specific things and doesn't make the character stronger but it gives speed advantages...

I mean... By that logic imagine Beerus mastering the tech/form. He will be Angel level...

Disagree. I have no problems with jiren winning against goku. His power has been established. And hyping a form up is supposed to mean he is going to win? Where's the logic in that?

I knew they were gonna pull some crazy shit with Freeza, but I always thought there will be a double knockout.

They are giving Goku 2 new forms with so much badassery, and just after 2 episodes making him lose? The form will feel worthless if Goku still lost to Jiren after asspulling so much power. I low-key wanted Goku to get his first major win in DBS, but I would have settled for a tie with Jiren for Freeza's sake.

SMH, I'm disappointed.

Only hope now is that hope spoilers are wrong: like fro episode 118, spoilers said that frieza would be pissed at goku but he wan't

I can almost bet that the same will happen in the manga...

Manga is Toyo's story 0V0 I really doubt Toryiama have that much involvement in either
