As I said, this timeline is low2c so there will be no problem with him being supergenius, I think we know that low2c>3a.

The Eclipse Gate is a simple case of Time Travel. Time Travel also encompasses traveling to other timelines. This is a common thing in fiction, and it's never been given a Supergenius rating in itself

Becuase he didn't use parts from Home Depot. You need to be able to replicate stuff like this using run-of-the-mill parts from your hardware store or home-made items, like uh... pipe-bombs.

That's what KLOL is saying, the baseline for Supergenius is the ability to construct 3-A and above reality warping constructs using standard equipment/supplies. It's less credited if McGuffin stuff are used and would at most be extraordinary genius if those cases.
