Ahoy!
How is everyone finding the new forum? It’s interesting to see all the CRTs that have been coming in now we’re able to again. I actually have something I’d like to bring up myself.
In Mario Party: Island Tour, Bowser turns fun into bubbles, such villainy! The bubbles materialise as clones of the playable cast, with three of them facing off against the protagonist on almost every floor of Bowser’s newly created tower. But three opponents is quite a daunting challenge, no? If only we could cut them down… Well, that’s where Mini Stars come in.
Occasionally, a Roulette Block will appear and allow the Green Toad accompanying you to summon some Mini Stars, which will erase some of the bubble clones. The number of Mini Stars corresponds to the number of clones erased. (Since people seem to like Japanese scans, here’s what they say of it in Japan, which translates to “Huh? The power of the Mini Star made one of Bowser's minions disappear!” … So, the exact same thing!).
The ins and outs of how strong the bubble clones are are a bit shaky, but they’re generally hyped up as tough members of the Koopa Troop, with minigames such as Rat-a-tat Flat showing that they can shrug off being ground pounded by main cast members and being able to flatten them with their own ground pounds, so I’d say they should probably scale to the main cast (I don’t know if this is relevant, but I’ve seen people talk about the potency of hax using the tiering system, so I’ll put it here just in case).
As we all know, the stars you collect in Mario Party are Power Stars, and we see from Mario Party 9 and Mario Party 10 that five Mini Stars come together to form a Power Star. Therefore, I propose that we grant Power Stars Existence Erasure. It’s likely that due to being composed of five Mini Stars, Power Stars can erase five targets, so this is a pretty useful upgrade, I would say.
Thanks for taking the time to read this thread.
tl;dr:
