Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

Admittedly I don't like the controls that much but I guess they just take time to get used to. I think that was the case with Pizza Tower as well.
But either way, the game seems quite fun going off the demo.

Actually unpopular opinions here

I think people are overhating on the minecraft movie stuff.
This came out and people dislike-bombed it...but like...it seems fun? The practical effects look great imo, there's clear effort, it has a unique vibe to it that I vibe with. Sure, there's a high chance it could be garbage, but I think there's garbage that is acceptable by fans and garbage that is equally as bad but not accepted by fans.
Here's my other unpopular opinion that is tied to this - FNAF movie. I'mma be real with you...the plot was kinda ass. They tried to shove everything in and instead ended up somehow cutting out screamers, ya know, the most popular and crucial part of FNAF, out of the movie. The plot is full of holes, there are no screamers, it ain't scary at all (FNAF games at least scare you by applying pressure on you with the fact that you're being hunted). Fans liked it but...it was so mid. I also kinda felt disappointed by the animatronics, they just looks exactly like the real deal. Isn't that good? Yes and no. It's good cause it causes no issues but its bad because it just remains soulless, it has no personal identity that divides it from the in-game versions. Heck, the FNAF 1 animatronics had more character than them.

Now let's yet again look at minecraft. We do not know what they're cooking at the moment. They've taken some liberties but its not like Mojang isn't constantly adding shit anyways. Just the shots of the sets already make me wanna see what they'll bring to the table. If its anything like the fnaf movie in being a mediocre at the very best story but with nice visuals, I think i'll be fine with it. Fans will scream that it's the worst thing ever though.

Maybe in the end it is actually just an example of different fandom personalities, with Fnaf fans enjoying whatever comes their way while Minecraft fans go into a rabid rage the moment someone disagrees with their ideas.

Frankly, the fact that they used practical effects at all puts it a step higher for me.

I agree but how would you expect it to be implemented?
Implement it to be less ass.

I hate how well that GIF worked. Anyways I don't think every game has a bad sanity meter but
X thing goes wrong enough times causing you to crash out and die seems pretty unreasonable. I don't think I'm Uber strong willed or anything but I don't think I'd be as cowardly as some of these characters.

1. Dragon Ball Daima is mid, probably one of the worst of Toriyama's works

2. Toriko is probably better than all of the Big 3

3. Sasuke and Madara are overrated

Not really that unpopular but when I play Survival Minecraft I always play with Keep Inventory. Look buddy, if you wanna speedrun a monster-infested ravine 1000 blocks away from your house at night while you have only 5 mins before your entire hard-earned inventory despawns, do as you wish. But the people who put down others for not wanting that are jackasses who probably have a masochism kink. If Minecraft had a grave system or body system like other games then I think i'd play it as intended but like, instead we mine one wrong block in the nether, get flooded with lava immediately and now everything you owned is gone forever and now you need to grind for hours on end to get it back.

In fact, I'll add on to it. I hate grinding. There's some fun grinding in some cases but for the most part I find it to be a pointless waste of time. I could be having fun with the game but NOOOOO you just need to force me to do the least fun thing ever just so you can pad out your gameplay time on sites.

2. One Piece
3. In what way? As characters?
1. And it's already the copy from wish of SandLand
2. Exactly, Toriko better than One Piece, I have doubts of it being better than Naruto tho
3. Exactly
4. Boruto is far better than Boruto Blue Vortex

3. I guess I agree. Still think Madara's a great character but even he is overrated.

1. First of all the characters who travel with Goku (Beelzebub) are Kaioshin, literally Thief (he is the only one to accompany Goku from his old team like Thief did with Beelzebub) and the princess, literally Ann in everything (demon princess who is good with gadgets), then there is Gloro who is Rao, the one to recruit the fighter of the team, Goku/Beelzebub. They have to defeat the evil king who brought poverty and is a tyrant in his land, ecc... obviously there are some differences, but it is obvious that Daima has nothing of original, it's just a mix of both Sand Land and Dragon Ball

1. Saying Dragon Ball is a mix of Sand Lane and Dragon Ball is crazy. Anywho, these points are just small similarities which don't prove much.

Take the stories of Star Wars and Harry Potter for example "A child who was orphaned (taken in by his aunt and uncle) discovers he is special and sets out a quest to defeat an evil tyrant. They are molded into powerful heroes by their mentors, who die in battle in order for the heroes to carry out their quest."
Are we seriously gonna say both Star Wars and Harry Potter are bad and unoriginal because they follow the "Hero's Journey" trope popularized by King Arthur?

Give the show a shot before you trash it.
2. Nah One Piece is better at most things.

I have beaten Yakuza 6 and I have some things to say.

First of all, the game is very interesting, the plot is amazing imo but the combat system, which at the time was brand new, is kinda ass. This time I chose to play on hard mode since people said it was easy and idk I had mixed feelings about this.

Now, let's talk about issues and pros of the story and gameplay

Story problems:
-Kinda really feels bad that Kiryu basically spent no time with his children since Yakuza 5
-They made Nagumo a bit annoying at the beginnig
-I think the Secret of Onomichi should've been more concrete
-Big lack of Majima. Saejima and Daigo too but mainly Majima.
-Idk how to feel about Kiryu treating Daigo like a son
-That's it actually I've nothing else to add

Story pros:
-Well connected plotlines
-Realistic characters for the most part
-Characters are well developed and nice
-They toned down the unnecessary twists for the most part
-Kiryu Clan plotline was simple but fun
-Its just generally good

Gameplay problems:
-The new combat system is just inferior to the older ones in every way
-Combos end when you hit the opponent while he's blocking and that's like half the time at least
-Not enough heat actions and they don't feel as fun
-Lack of a weapon system
-All weapons you get in battle break in 2 seconds
-Even with maxed out defense you take too much damage
-No drugstore in Kamurocho, useless drugstore in Onomichi
-Healing items cost an arm and a leg and Staminan Royale and Spark literally require you to go to a black market dealer
-Every fat guy you figh keeps kickdropping you and it instantly knocks you down
-A few too many bosses with grabs that instantly deal loads of unavoidable damage
-Grinding technique is a pain in the ass, you barely get any from quests or most fights
-Tiger Drop feels weak af
-Too many horde fights which are very annoying in this game
-Not enough minigames imo
-Enemies kicking shit into you is annoying and unfair
-Closed off parts of Kamurocho, no arena

Gameplay pros:
-Graphics are nice
-The minigames that exist are fun
-I never got to try the fishing minigame cause I forgot it was a thing and never found the activation point
-Lots of good sega games in club sega though I don't understand puyo puyo or rather how to win
-Climax heat mode is fun
-Heat gauge is neat and it feels like you get more action with it than you normally do
-Substories are amazing

Overall: I like how this concludes the story of Kiryu and his family. He leaves the world behind to protect others from his existence and the disaster it brings simply because people want to go at him. I liked the plot, loved the Hirose family, the head of the hirose family being an amaizng antagonist that parallels Kazama. The villains were unforgivable here and I respect that. They made Sugai more hateable than Tamashiro, at least that guy had the balls to fight you himself. It was unexpected of Haruka to actually get together with someone so fast but Yuta was a good lad. Haruto is adorable. I think that if the gameplay wasn't problematic in some aspects, the game would be leagues and leagues better. Can't wait to try out Yakuza 7.

Story rating: 9/10
Gameplay rating: 6/10
Overall rating: 7.5/10 - good, real good

I'm sorry, but 1-C planets are absolutely crazy.
