Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

Admittedly I don't like the controls that much but I guess they just take time to get used to. I think that was the case with Pizza Tower as well.
But either way, the game seems quite fun going off the demo.

Actually unpopular opinions here

I think people are overhating on the minecraft movie stuff.
This came out and people dislike-bombed it...but like...it seems fun? The practical effects look great imo, there's clear effort, it has a unique vibe to it that I vibe with. Sure, there's a high chance it could be garbage, but I think there's garbage that is acceptable by fans and garbage that is equally as bad but not accepted by fans.
Here's my other unpopular opinion that is tied to this - FNAF movie. I'mma be real with you...the plot was kinda ass. They tried to shove everything in and instead ended up somehow cutting out screamers, ya know, the most popular and crucial part of FNAF, out of the movie. The plot is full of holes, there are no screamers, it ain't scary at all (FNAF games at least scare you by applying pressure on you with the fact that you're being hunted). Fans liked it but...it was so mid. I also kinda felt disappointed by the animatronics, they just looks exactly like the real deal. Isn't that good? Yes and no. It's good cause it causes no issues but its bad because it just remains soulless, it has no personal identity that divides it from the in-game versions. Heck, the FNAF 1 animatronics had more character than them.

Now let's yet again look at minecraft. We do not know what they're cooking at the moment. They've taken some liberties but its not like Mojang isn't constantly adding shit anyways. Just the shots of the sets already make me wanna see what they'll bring to the table. If its anything like the fnaf movie in being a mediocre at the very best story but with nice visuals, I think i'll be fine with it. Fans will scream that it's the worst thing ever though.

Maybe in the end it is actually just an example of different fandom personalities, with Fnaf fans enjoying whatever comes their way while Minecraft fans go into a rabid rage the moment someone disagrees with their ideas.

Frankly, the fact that they used practical effects at all puts it a step higher for me.

I agree but how would you expect it to be implemented?
Implement it to be less ass.

I hate how well that GIF worked. Anyways I don't think every game has a bad sanity meter but
X thing goes wrong enough times causing you to crash out and die seems pretty unreasonable. I don't think I'm Uber strong willed or anything but I don't think I'd be as cowardly as some of these characters.

1. Dragon Ball Daima is mid, probably one of the worst of Toriyama's works

2. Toriko is probably better than all of the Big 3

3. Sasuke and Madara are overrated

Not really that unpopular but when I play Survival Minecraft I always play with Keep Inventory. Look buddy, if you wanna speedrun a monster-infested ravine 1000 blocks away from your house at night while you have only 5 mins before your entire hard-earned inventory despawns, do as you wish. But the people who put down others for not wanting that are jackasses who probably have a masochism kink. If Minecraft had a grave system or body system like other games then I think i'd play it as intended but like, instead we mine one wrong block in the nether, get flooded with lava immediately and now everything you owned is gone forever and now you need to grind for hours on end to get it back.

In fact, I'll add on to it. I hate grinding. There's some fun grinding in some cases but for the most part I find it to be a pointless waste of time. I could be having fun with the game but NOOOOO you just need to force me to do the least fun thing ever just so you can pad out your gameplay time on sites.
