Tower of God General Discussion Thread Part 5

Anybody else feel like Jahad isn’t actually the final boss? I mean he sealed the entrance to the 135 floor and stopped climbing all together (we don’t know if 135 is actually the top either iirc).

Maybe there’s things up post floor 134 that even Jahad dares not to fight? Or there are enemies that can give Enryu a challenge.

Or maybe Phantaminum is just trolling everybody and floor 135 just takes you to floor 1 like in one of those impossible optical illusions lmao.

He's probably gonna fight Headon or sth, maybe he'll turn into an Axis

Too bad, as much as I complain most of the time about his decisions and choices, I hope SIU gets as much rest as he wants and that he comes back with a better mind and better plans for the story.

Goodness that hurts to hear...

I mean, S3 Ch 127 is currently rated on average 6.04 stars on Naver (the lowest for a ToG chapter EVER)- and for reference ToG chapters were consistently around 9.95 for S1 & 2, and still well into 9 stars before the first hiatus in S3. And that's not even getting into the comments...

These recent months have had to be extremely rough on SIU. (Turns out that the masses repeatedly vocalizing everything wrong with the story hardly helps a writer figure out how to make things right.)

Anyways imma rant about sth real quick so spoiler alert.

One of the main complaints that people had with the latest chapters was that Traumerei gave a chance for other families to participate in the tournament and let Bam fight for himself. Thing is, there are two factors at play here. First, Family opinions. If word gets out that Traum forced Bam into his family other families will feel the inbalance and think its unfair and might do something against the Lo po bia family, so it needs to at least look like the other families had a chance to do anything. Next thing is simple...game mentality. People are asking for rational decisions from a super irrational Family head. In fact, there is basically no point in like half the stuff we know, cause it is all a game to the 10FH. From the beginning there were countless things that were irrational. Princess system is way to complex and pointless, it has no real meaning, it is a game for Zahard and Traumerei to try and ratio politics or sth but they could've done it in any other way other than the princess system. Next let's look at basically every ranker who tests people ever. Lo po bia Ran could've sent the bull at the very beginning and killed Baam and could have killed Anaak and nabbed the green april at the start of the test but he didn't. He then toyed with the princesses despite following official orders which was the reason he messed up. Agusgus could have just done some meddling and handled Viole's exam himself with no need for the fight with Love. Heck, Love could have avenged his people by just punching Viole once, instead he gave him a chance with a game, endangering other regulars and getting one killed. Next, if the chibi looking ranker wanted to kill Viole he could have just sent the regulars inside the Zigena, silently murdered Viole cause of epic stealth (cause learning stealth techniques for a ranker shouldn't be much of a challenge) and left everyone to die. Heck, Data Zahard could just not give Bam a month and killed him, saving him time and saving the data world. Real Zahard could've gotten off his bottom and gone down to kill Bam at the last station himself. But no, they all gave a chance to their opponent even though it's a very serious matter every time, often life-or-death. Literally the only two people who were rational who i remember were Karaka who just went straight to nuke Bam many times so he can get the thorn and Hell Joe who just tried to vaporize anyone opposing him. It pisses me off that people are hating on SIU's decision even though that is how it has been for like the past 550 chapters.

Bam has alot of luck/plot armor on his side lmao

All these seasonal and experienced fighters and rankers just can't help but give Bam a chance as soon as he shows up for some dumb reason

Besides Season 1 Androssi, is there any other character that scales to Anaak's Green April Ignition feat? Obviously the Bull, but I have my doubts about End of Season 1 Baam, as his shinsoo was enhanced to the point he could one-shot the Bull, but Androssi was still confident that he could stop it, but also stated that he is unable to harm it, but I don't know if by "stop" she was meaning his Fast Skip or his AP with Shinsoo Manipulation was strong enough to stop the Bull

I'd say even Androssi doesn't scale. I see no one who can survive that swing specifically. Lifting it is one thing but commanding it to strike down and blasting everything is another

Yes, besides the passive hax he needs one more thing to become the official small lord hax, which is Non-Physical Interaction

By the way, how strong do you guys think the strongest non-Irregulars will be? I think baseline Large Country level+ (430 Teratons) at bare minimum or baseline Continent level (760 Teratons) at most

I'd say top non irregulars will be downscaling from 4 petatons by being weaker than each individual FH but capable of holding their own. The people in mind are Baek and Luslec. Also, isn't Adori > some FHs?

Rank also includes influence, so higher rank doesn't always mean stronger. (Although the Top 2 spots are basically power based, probably because their influence is "If they wanted to kill everything in the Tower, literally nobody would be able to stop them.")

I just realized that UTSM Baam is pretty OP in match-ups, as you have to deal with his Corrosion Inducement which is caused by his black shinsoo that covers his entire body and which he can make a rain of his black shinsoo that can cover a vast area, even if you manage to deal with his black shinsoo (White only managed to endure it because of his shinsoo barrier and his high shinsoo resistance that allowed him to resist it even without his barrier), and if that doesn't work, he can simply absorb his opponents powers just by touching (White was only able to resist to it because he had Resistance to Power Absorption), and even if the opponent manages to do some damage to him, he can just say "lol, what injure?" by rewind his time to negate any damage (He never did this to White as the Slayer was unable to cause any degree of harm on Baam, and the only time he ever "hurt" Baam so to speak, it was intentional by Baam to force White approach him and steal his powers)

yeah the only thing that can indeed get him is mind hax since his resistance is only basline. AKA we shouldn't put him against Genjutsu users since they've layered mind hax
