The goal here is to at least get a key or profile for BORUTO MOVIE NOVELISATION Momoshiki

First of all we don't necessarily need a Momoshiki profile based on the light novels as far as I'm concerned there's no real differences in the continuities except for possible tier and speed changes.

Secondly, are these translations credible, from an official source preferably or at least from a good translator? Because I've heard from some places that translations can vary.

I haven't read the novel but I have a few questions about it:

Do the events take that place mirror the events in other media or are there any key differences?

Is it canon?

I agree with Naruto having stars and solar systems that is pretty clear. If Momoshiki made a parallel dimension of it out of his own chakra then indeed that would be at least 4-A.

This would automatically mean this profile can't be created at all due to what's stated on Cano.

@Ion I haven't actually read the novel but yeah I don't think he should get a new page if it violates the canon rules.
 
Movie continuity is different from primary canon continuity.

And Momoshiki in movie novelization has different abilities, skill set, and attack potency.

Those kind of profiles are allowed. Hell, we have Jojo, Dragon Ball, and other profiles for characters outside of main continuity.

The Novel isn't even tied to the Movies continuity anymore its put in several canon timelines that get continuely updated even being put in the most recent one alongside the Retsuden, Hiden and Shinden Novels which are all canon and even have feats that are used already for their profiles, it just has a slightly different take on the fight and certain scenes which shocker even the Anime which is in the same continuity as the Manga does so it makes no sense to me why it can't be utilized for they're normal profiles due to this but apparently just cause it has Movie in the name and the Movie has been slightly retconned that obviously means the Novel is unusable to despite all the evidence to the contrary and the fact that it has a great number of scenes that arent even in the Movie itself distancing itself from the get go.

But hell idc at least he might actually get a LN profile at least better than outright ignoring its existence.

I think you mean anime novels >> movie >> movie novel.
 
No the Movel Novel is still lumped in with the Anime Novels in official timelines/ the Boruto Directory its quite literally stiill consider canon by S-J and it actually barely shares that much in common with the Movie aside from the overall main plot of course

I've already established the the movie novelisation is canon it's feats and some events differ, it's depicted on the shonen timeline alongside the resuden novels. So because its canon but differs to the manga/anime it should at least get a profile or key. It'd work like the dbs manga and anime. Since they still follow the over arching main plot.

If I'm not mistaken, it was Kodachi who wrote the film's novel, it is portrayed in the official chronology of the novels, I don't see why it is not accepted as a canon here, because it is not us in the forum who must decide what is canonical or not , at least one profile or key must be created; is an original official material from Boruto's own writer that is simply being ignored

Actually, we do. We decide what is on our profiles ultimately.
 
Anyway, who needs to comment here for the profile to be created? Will this topic be another one about Naruto that will fall by the wayside?

And well, I think we all know why the novel is not accepted as a canon here, right? the alternative to the "Outlier" argument is to say that it is not canonical...

Of course. We have issues like the wrong scaling for AP, calcs that need to be re calculated, and such things. What are you guys doing? Light Novel Momoshiki profile, Deidara durability. Come on, help with the useful things first

Many scaling threads have been put on hold or postponed because everyone is waiting for the AP revisions to get underway, at least the part 2 revisions.
