Idk why, but the FF dudes should be +.
Going by the calc (They scale to 16,954,257.25j, with Terry likely upscaling a bit).

As in Terry has like a 8x give or take advantage.

Anyways let this thread die as it’s a waste of a potential Terry vs John Cena thread

Eh I guess there’s differences in 2v1s and 1v1s and stuff and whatnot

Austin Theory: 2,842,127.28351 Joules, higher with Ataxia, ATL, and A-Town Down

Johnny Gargano
: 2,842,127.28351 Joules, higher with One Final Beat

Terry Bogard
: 2,825,709.54167 Joules

Joe Higashi: 2,825,709.54167 Joules

Both teams are extremely even in terms of AP.

anyways onto the match-up

AP/Dura: The Ways are 2.8 MJ well Bogard and Higashi are 2.8 MJ ik crazy so they're pretty even, both groups having attacks that are stronger then that (The Ways having Finishers, Bogard and Higashi having their super attacks and Chi attacks)

Skill and Experience: The Ways (just gonna put them together) have been fighting for a long time against plenty of people some being able to do mathematical things in their heads to dodge attacks and someone blinded still fighting with their "sixth sense" (i think they scale to that) but i'm pretty sure Bogard and Higashi got them beat in this. Bogard is an incredibly skilled combatant, he's been training since his early childhood in the art of Hakkyokuseiken by his father Jeff Bogard, who was also genius in combat, Terry won three "The King of Fighters" tournaments in a row, defeating Geese someone who mastered all martial arts styles, constantly traveling across America to meet people stronger to improve himself He is also rather skilled in basketball. Higashi on the other hand started learning Muay Thai when he was a teenager, traveling to Thailand and challenging countless veterans in the style and is comparable to Terry who I already went into detail about.

Range: yah Terry has Extended Melee Range to Several Meters via Ki Projection and Higashi has Several Meters via Air Manipulation simple enough

Stamina: should be fairly even as both Groups have shown to be able to fight for countless hours on end but Bogard and Higashi might be slightly better via fighting for entire days.

LS: Terry and Higashi have Class 50 to The Ways Peak Human, simple as that.

Others: so The Ways have Instinctive Reaction which can come in handy incase they need to dodge something they'd normally be unable to dodge and Social influencing which can cause Terry or Higashi to leave themselves open for a potential finisher to land. Bogard and Higashi have insane levels of acrobatics preforming somersault jumps forward and backwards, dodge rolls, sliding kicks, aerial combos and airborne backflips with plenty of Air combos they are capable of doing alongside Chi manipulation which can be used to increase the power of their attacks

Overall i'm leaning towards Terry and Higashi for this match, The Ways have finishers which could end the fight if it come to that alongside SI to leave Bogard and Higashi open to it but they've got great acrobatics which are gonna make those very difficult to land alongside their incredible skill showings which are gonna keep the Ways on their feet the entire time, not to mention the LS difference meaning putting one into a hold isn't gonna last very long + the range advantage that Bogard and Higashi could spam, decently sized Tornados and Ki explosions are gonna pretty difficult to dodge all things considered further amp'ed by the Chi they have access too.

All of those things shown for Terry's and Bogard's skill isn't any better than Theory, let alone Gargano, who's more skilled than Theory.

People who go down each category one by one for opening arguments >>>>>>

“Mastering all martial arts” is pretty damn good tbf, above Theory and Gargano, who only have mastery of a decent handful of martial arts and experience against masters of a much larger range between them. Obviously this massively helps them, but they still probably fall just shy

Terry and Bogard 😭 anyways Terry's been fighting/training since he was a child by his father who already mastered that style of fighting, defeated Geese who literally mastered every martial arts styles, and is comparable to other fighters in his universe, each with unique abilities who have also been training since they were kids as well as one who brought an entire new fighting styles from their home land 'Trained tirelessly in the arts of the Shiranui-ryuu, became master of the House of Shiranui at the age of 19" (Mai Shiranui) and Higashi can keep up with Terry so he should be comparable to him in the skill department, they'll certainty keep up with the ways even if they fall just behind them.

They're far superior to that.

and someone blinded still fighting with their "sixth sense" (i think they scale to that)
They 100% do. Theory has fought on par with Dexter Lumis on a few occasions, and Gargano is more skilled than Theory. That already says enough.

That's fair, though I'm inclined to believe this won't be a big problem for The Way, as the multiple amount of fighting styles both Theory and Gargano have fought against and even defeated should be enough to keep up.

Skill is obviously one thing, and while Joe and Terry hold an advantage here, it's not significant, but fighting styles + versatility is another thing as well.

Anyways, what are Joe's and Terry's fighting styles?
Terry's style is rooted in Hakkyokuseiken, an art that takes inspiration from a variety of chinese and japanese styles but he uses a "personal kind of freestyle martial arts" no clue what that means but Terry is a complete fighter who excels in close, ranged and aerial combat. Higashi is a master in the style of Muay Thai, His natural talent quickly emerged, making him the youngest champion and undefeated legend of Muay Thai.

Bogard can throw out attacks powered by chi energy (Burning Knuckle, Power Dunk, Round Wave, Power Wave, Power Geyser, Triple Geyser/Overheat Geyser, and Buster Wolf) and Higashi can throw out literal tornados and Chi attacks (Hurricane Upper, Exploding Hurricane, Tiger Kick, Screw Upper, Exploding Tiger Kick, Thunder Fire) Bogard and Higashi have plenty of versatility and attacks that'll be pretty shocking at first, some of those are Supers btw so they deal more damage then regular attacks.

Okay.

Gargano's fighting style revolves around combining British Chain Wrestling, Lucha Libre, and Puroresu into a fighting style he likes to call "Lucharesu." This makes him pretty unpredictable in combat, as he can switch fighting styles in an instant so seamlessly.

Theory's fighting style is tbh, a lot simpler than everyone else's. He specializes in using stiff strikes and grapples, and for someone his size, he's deceivingly agile.

Here is both Gargano's and Theory's movesets.

Also, since this fight is taking place in a wrestling ring, this will heavily benefit Gargano and Theory.

Gargano's and Theory's IR will come in clutch here as well. They're also on par with Dexter Lumis, who has a "Sixth Sense" that allows him to dodge and fight while blindfolded.

And let's not forget Gargano's and Theory's SL, which will be a GG if pulled off.

Also, another thing people are forgetting is Gargano's Stealth Mastery, which is actually pretty good for this fight considering the unorthodox fighting styles both Terry and Joe have. The Way can plan a sneak attack with Theory taking the front and Gargano being able to attack one of them without being seen.

Gargano never used his stealth mastery in a proper combat scenario before and they'd have to plan that out which is gonna be pretty difficult to do with Chi blast being thrown at you from afar alongside Tornados which can easily blow them apart from each other and given it's in a Wrestlemania 33 ring which is decently open it'll be pretty hard to properly sneak away.

Fair point.

I actually found a feat of Johnny Gargano using Stealth Mastery in combat (though that was an obvious sneak attack that was planned prior).

yah that was just kind of him running up without being spotted, he used it FOR combat but not during an actual match sadly.

I mean, if he used it in combat, would it not qualify?
Has he done it while in actual combat?
It isn't exactly hard to take someone by surprise if they aren't expecting it, if you're already in a fight you need to show you can slip away mid combat. He ain't Batman or Snake.

Anyways, we're getting somewhat off topic here. Stealth Mastery isn't the end all be all of this fight anyways.

I will emphasize again that Gargano and Theory's IR will be extremely useful here, and the fact that they're not far behind whatsoever in skill makes it a bit hard for both Terry and Joe to get some crucial hits in.

Idk man, IR is def good, but skill wise, Terry can beat the shit out of Geese, thrice, and Krau, who evidently are very skilled.

I'd say Geese is quite a bit more skilled, and Terry > Geese more or less. Terry effectively consistently defeats a man more skilled than these lads. At least in pure martial technical process, they have advantages with inherent qualities like IR, but that's not quite skill.

Is Geese the guy that's mastered every martial art?

it'll help but Terry and Joe are insanely acrobatic literally pulling off combos in mid-air and being >Geese in skill, their crucial hits are far more consistent through amping themselves with Chi + Super moves having decently good AOE so they'll have a lot of problems hitting a finisher because of the acrobatics, range disadvantage, and LS disadvantage meaning any finisher that involves grabbing is gonna be hard to pull off consistently.

Have Terry and Joe fought on par with people who have a "Sixth Sense" that allows him to fight while blindfolded?
