Yes, the structure of Monitor Sphere as explained in Final Crisis makes it visibly obvious that it isn't just a dimension above the Bleed.

Besides, the Six Dimensions scan contradicts itself.

So we have the multiverse of parallel realities as composed of fourth dimensional branes, connected by the fifth dimensional bleed bulk. Okay, so far it checks out and matches what stuff like Final Crisis and Multiversity established.

But then according to this, apparently the Sphere of the Gods is also fourth dimensional and the Bleed connects it as well, even though in the map itself the Sphere of the Gods is placed outside the Orerry of Worlds, the Bleed, and the Speed Force Wall. And beyond even that is Limbo followed by Monitor Sphere which is separated by the Source Wall...

But then this story says that the Source Wall is what separates the fifth dimension from what's above????

Whoever is writing this current arc, though holding valid intentions, is clearly misinterpreting things.

Okay. Rama Kushna's mention of innumerable dimensions is valid, although not a major plot point for DC Comics as a whole, and t we have the same problem with the other DeMatteis story with Larfleeze as the main character.

What makes me uncertain is that Grant Morrison's cosmology is far more prominent and outright taken as official by DC Comics, but we mix it together with something mostly offhanded and unrelated.

I also don't see why we link to the Lucifer scan. It doesn't mention infinite dimensions.

I know I'm not an established user here but I'm a longtime DC lore fanboy so hear me out:

Grant Morrison himself proved the Multiverse (capital M) is more than 4D when he made that map in the first place. The House of Heroes in the Bleed (which is shown directly to be 4D space in Final Crisis) is stated to rotate through the 5th dimension in Multiversity and yet was still an entire plane below the Sphere of the Gods.

I think it's fairly obvious that when Mxyz is talking about the "multiverse" he does not mean Multiverse, but multiverse as in the collection of universes that make up the Orrery and reside in the Bleed. If the artist had actually cut out part of Morrison's map to make it more technically accurate then 99% of readers who aren't super-buffs would've gotten confused. Because to the casual DC fan, that picture means "multiverse."

I suppose that you are likely right about Snyder's story being confused, but there have been several different takes on DC cosmology over the years, which makes it very hard for me to try to find a coherent structure in all of it.

The confirmation that is worth bringing up is that Monitors are confirmed as at least Sixth-Dimensional.

Matt, Mxy was holding a representation of the Source Wall Multiverse that he literally called 4th Dimensional. It did not refer to just the Orrerry as his presentation included the Monitor Sphere.

Then said "Add the 5th Dimension" as if to add something to the presentation that wasn't there, so the 5th Dimension is outside the Source Wall which is Imagination. Just like how the Dark Multiverse is Dreams, Hopes and Imagination that is outside the Source Wall that is like the new interpretation of the 5th Dimension. Remember?

Then Mxy said that the Source Wall being destroyed allowed him to send Superman to the 6th Dimension. Implying the 6th Dimension is outside the Source Wall since the Source Wall was a barrier between the Universe and the Sixth Dimension.

I don't know why there are 3 different threads discussing the same thing, but I strongly agree with Matthew. If this changes anything it would be upgrading the Anti-Monitor and Monitor to Low 1-C, not downgrading everything.

Would the Anti-Monitor (Crisis) and those who scale be something like "At least "1-C",possibly Far Higher" or something like that... Or are they actually going to be straight up High 1-B now ?
