Sothis Fused Byleth vs Post-Revival Assault Mode Meliodas

Low 6-B Battle (5.8 Teratons vs 1.38 Teratons)

Speed Equalized

Both in Character

Battle takes place in Gronder Field

Byleth: 7 (PuasLuisZX, Ionliosite, Stalker Maggot, TheMaggotOfTheAbyss, I'm Blue daba dee daba die, Planck69, Thatsafloridathing)

Meliodas: 1 (Dooyo)

Inconclusive:

Male Byleth (Sothis Fused) Smash Ultimate
Meliodas Assault Mode

Why in Byleth profile, it is said possibly " small country level?

Anyway, I give it to Meliodas due to superior physical strength in close combat physical brawl, Full Counter which nope most of his attacks.

Byleth has superior strength tho, he's like 3 times stronger than Mel.
His profile stated that he is just superman in lifting strength, stricking strength in the version used here, he should be comparable to that Meliodas here and I doubt it when the " possibly " is mentioned.

Did you know that Byleth has the superior strength and that he's an expert in both brawling and close combat?

Also, Full Counter only reflects magic if he times it correctly, and which both variants, Counter Vanish and Revenge Counter will not likely fully disperse the damage or be activated at all if he gets knocked out considering that Byleth has the higher AP and strength respectively.

Not voting yet.

Meliodas has Full Counter and Regen, Byleth has superior AP and Divine Pulse

I think their unique abilities make this a very interesting battle

"Possibly" just means that the feat is too vague to give a concrete tier to. You can be "Possibly X" and still AP stomp people in your tier. Byleth is 3 times stronger here regardless of how it's phrased.

Not only magic but natural energy based as well as we saw him Full Counter a natural lightning from the sky which wasn't created via magic.

I see, fine then, still giving it to Meliodas because of Full Counter and Revenge Counter.

Revenge Counter is extremely situational. As for Full Counter, how prone is Byleth to use magic? Because Mel's FC doesn't work on physical attacks.

Revenge counter work when he got damaged a lot and he can use it against several foes attacting him at the same time.

... I never said otherwise, I just said it was situational due to the fact he needs to take a lot of damage first for it to be effective.

Yeah, and honestly Byleth is way prone to use his Sword of the creator and several other weapons rather than magical attacks and even with speed equalized, Byleth is still faster with Stats Amp and will put again a 3x of difference in AP even at night, so I don't think that the Full Counter will be as effective as a combat, in the worst case scenario, Byleth just uses one of his uses of Divine Pulse. Also I can see Byleth as the better tactician and strategist in battle.

I would ask a question about Melodias Regenerationn, until how much could he resist without some parts of his body and how much it applies to his body?

Yeah, after researching about Melodias Regenerationn, I'm voting for Byleth.

Byleth has the higher AP with a 4.2x difference, and while both of them has ways to increase their Statistics. Meliodas only can increase his magic power (assuming the battle is at night), while Byleth increase their overall stats and with his Crest of Flames the gap of AP and Durability increases statwise, let alone the speed advantage.

About Full Counter and all their variants, they would only work in the first try due Divine Pulse which could get him knowledge about this move in particular, and even then, Byleth usually sticks with his sword and other close to mid range options in which both of them are similary skilled, but Byleth is still a better tactician in the battlefield.

Finally, there is Meliodas's Regenerationn which has the limitation of powerful enough attacks and cannot be regenerated until they are out of energy. Something that Byleth could do considering the many ways Byleth can boost his damage and his Sublime Heaven skill and his difference in terms of AP.

I have to disagree on the idea on the idea of the pair being similarly skilled due Meliodas' sheer experience over Byleth.

With that said, Revenge Counter isn't even a win condition for meliodas since the effect of the sword render's that useless. Mel doesn't really have any win conditions since Byleth would come back from any fatal attacks that Meliodas lands, which are narrow to begin with.

I would actually have to consider this a stomp for Byleth

There isn't really a clearly defined limit to how much Byleth can use Divine Pulse in-story though, I guess earlier in 3H he probably can't use it too often but I'd expect that Sothis-Fused Byleth would be able to use it more frequently.

Much of Byleth's profiles relies on his game mechanics, so I assume that's what's being used here

12, he has 12 total tries
That sounds a lot like game mechanics. How many in-story times has he revived?
Concluded thread ik, but Byleth is implied to use Divine Pulse even if it isnt shown, as Edelgard remarks that it almost seems like "They fight as if they can read the enemies minds"
