The Gods Of Primal Man

Life and Fantasy, huh?

My own idea is Entertainment for my domain instead and having Fiction as my sphere of influence.

Life and Fantasy kind of seem more or less unrelated IMO.

Fantasy can be related to Entertainment, of course, it's just not directly related.

@Spider

I want to inform you that I abandon the role play.

I simply can't manage more than two.

You have full control of my character, use it as you see fit

THank you for the heads up. Good luck

The thing for me is a bit chaotic ... and then the games that create civilization are not the best kind for me.

However we see each other in the other role plays

Name: Azariath - Patron of Free Thought - Lord of Crimson Falmor

Sex
: Male

Age: 20

Appearance: Azariath has been known to take many shapes and forms... but for most of the time he has the appearance of a young human male in his early twenties. With brown hair and eyes, he does not stand out amongst his neighbors... and this is perfect. This is what he desires most. He does not wish to be noticed.

Personality: He is aloof and cold but at the same time cruel and cunning. He has been known to play games with those who he find interesting. He hates that which conforms to society without qustioning why things are the way they are. He blames God for what he has become and wages war with the 'brother'. (Said brother shall not appear in this as that would just spoil a key thing in my mythos)

Domai: Freedom - Heat

Sphere Of Influence: Unlike many other gods, Azariath channels most of his powers from a seperate dimension that only he can acess, It is a cruel and hellish place filled with fire and brimstone. But it has one unique trait. All who can suffer through the pain of the fires of Crimsn Falmor may attain the enlightment and knowledge that Azariath has stored there. He most often uses said flames as his way to impart the knowledge, though said flames have killed in the thousands.

Azariath's sphere of influence isn't just freedom in the typical sense. As long as something can be freed... he has power over it. If it is freedom from ignorance, then he has the knowledge to do so.

If it is freedom from death, he can provide life. ETC - As long as there is freedom from it... Azariath has full domain over it.

Despite all this, he is a dark god by choice. His domains were not ones that he chose for himself but found thrust upon his body.

His other sphere of influence is heat itself. His domain over heat allows himself to control fire and the rays of the sun. This allows him to encourage the growth of plant life... or the withering of crops.

The people pray to him as a god of Agriculture and Knowledge, despite that only being a tith of his true powers.

Note: This is an actual entity from a book that I'm writing, with a few changes. In the book, he is actually a demon and he inspires others to free themselves from their shackles of learned thought. This is more of a passive effect as he embodies the concept instead of just having power over it.

You get too Spheres of Influence. . . One per domain.

I changed my domain to just one, Freedom
Um basically how character creation is, you need Two domains, at this point, and one sphere of influence per domain. May I suggest fire for one?

NostalgiaTrip said:
Oh ok. I'll make the changes then.
Another thing is, you can't have so much power over people that you encompass all the power over freedom that anything could have.

Well when I chose freedom... It makes him an antithesis and at the same time a self perpetuating paradox. Freedom from life is death... and then freedom from death is life. You see it becomes a dangerous game for Azariath to play.

But I can change it still.

Domai: Heat - Growth

Sphere Of Influence: Azariath is a powerful deity. He has full dominion over that which can grow and that which creates heat. As a result... the sun is his to control. He has been known to burn the crops of his people when he was in a bad mood... and to make it flourish when he was in a good mood.

Also can he know that his former domains were far more powerful than that which he now has? Like it was stripped away from him and all that?

he was a mortal beforehand from modern day earth that's kinda a major point for the rp. and of course he can manipulate the sun at effectively a town level.

Fair enough... I guess he'll just have to be that way in my book. I guess that's the curse when you use an already existing being as the basis for your RP character lol.

But the more powerful he becomes, the greater his control right? Like he can increase his range right? From town to city and so on

Yep that is correct, we'll probably be well into the space age before you can actually manipulate the sun of course. and there are other sun deities to stop you from messing with this sun.

Everyone is currently Low 7-B right now. But yes, @NostalgiaTrip, everyone's growing in power as the role play progresses.

Makes sense. Well that's my OC. Let me know if it get's accepted.
Accepted. Keep in mind he was a Human given godhood in the modern day/near future and sent to Prehistory.

Alright. I'm remaking my character from scratch.

Name: Unknown. Generally just goes by the nicknames he's given by others, but is called "God" by his followers. For the sake of a character name, he's called "The Entertainer"

Sex: Male.

Age: Mid teens

Appearance: Anime-looking teenager. Wears a modern orange hoodie usually, but otherwise just wears whatever.

Personality: Is easygoing and even childish at times, but is still somewhat intelligent in strategy, not to mention ambitious. Considers their domain to be the most important one, and believes themselves to be the rightful ruler of the world.

Domai: Entertainment

Sphere Of Influence: Fiction

So do I just start and ignore everyone else for the time being? Also, would I be able to interact with the other players down the road?

The Smashor said:
By the way, we can use any human magic. What is that?
Basically it's things like psychic powers, divination, healing magic, illusions, enchantments and transmutations. No direct combat magic for ordinary mortal magic, but some mortals have access to domains for their magic.

you forgot about monster magic which definitely can be used for combat. transforming yourself or others into various types of monstergirls and gaining their abilities.
