Bill doesn't have 3 starting moves. Sleep Manipulation isn't one of them as he only used it once, meanwhile the previously mentioned time stop was used twice and the precog 3 times, all ignored. If serious, Bill could transmute Discord in a way that his shapeshifting shouldn't save him. And yes, power null someone infinitely stronger is a tremendous nlf.

Can you guys guess how many wrong preconceived notions are in this thread?
 
The first time he used Time Stop was in a dream and didn't stop anyone from moving, it just stopped the environment. The second time he used it it slowed down a clock and some birds but nothing else, doesn't seem very IC to do that. Everytime he used precog was either not in combat or just to taunt his opponent, plus the obviously huge amount of times he could've used it but didn't makes it also seem like it's ooc. That's kinda NLF to assume he could just transmute him so hard his shapeshifting wouldn't work, as we've never seen him do that. Even if power null doesn't work, which it still should as I explained above, Discord has several other moves that can take out Bill and he can do it faster than Bill can.
 
Is there any reason to assume Discord would even still be conscious after being transmuted? Because he'd kinda need to be to shapeshift back.
 
Source? And is there any indication that isn't just how that character's transmutation works? Some transmutation still keaves people conscious after all, it might mot just be a Discord thing.

Also, Discird needs feats of nullifying Low 2-C stuff.

Bullshit it does. It's supposed to knock you unconscious. That's not me saying transmutation in general should work like that, the spell used on him specifically turns you to stone and puts you unconscious at the same time. It failed as Discord was still able to hear what was happening around him. TF are people voting for via transmutation when that was already debunked midway through the thread?
 
Uh, where is the source that Discord's mindhax is thought based? In the scans on his profile, he either uses a laser or some kind of gas cloud thing seeps into them.
 
False, animals in that environment were affected and being in a dream doesn't matter as that's the only way he could present himself and can use the same powers without being in a dream. You describe the pis in the second in a very self explanatorily way, if you want to disagree then that's fine. By the logic of him not using something in combat then we may as well say that Monika has no starting move as she never fights anyone. Bill used a power 3 times just because he felt like it and most of the times doesn't fight, or better said, he doesn't have a prolonged conflict in which he can use all his power or doing things right matters. When he faces humans with no powers he knows they are humans with no powers.

Which moves would that be? And what's the scale of Discord's resistances to mind manip and transmutation? I would like to see the exact feats as I suspect the scale Bill has on those powers to be higher.

Whole body or skin? Even then, Bill could turn 6 people into banners, something like that isn't comparable to Discord's feat.
 
It's full body. Rockhoof specifically wanted to be a statue, and Twilight threatened to turn Discord into stone. It's not some shell of stone, you literally become the stone.
 
Oh, there's also the fact that Discord says "I don't tur ponies into stone." If that doesn't seal the deal, then you have Discord turning himself into stone, shattering on the floor, and we see his insides are also turned to stone, implying it's full body.

Context: Discord: I've known Celestia and Luna longer than any of you. I terrorized them, they turned me into stone... [crack] [crumble]

I want to make it clear that Discord is reenacting what Celestia and Luna did to him. If it were merely "skin deep" he would have done it that way, but s far as he remembers, he was turned to stone inside and out.

And then regenerates because of his soon to be type 8. Ant agreed with it, only needs to be added.
 
And with a single approved edit from a bureaucrat, all fra's related to AP become invalid. He now has type 8 immportality reliant on existing in everyone who desires chaos (via being Accord's opposite who exists in all who desire order).

Well you know, he's the only staff member who is also knowledgable on MLP. A former staff member of great knowledge on MLP was also in support of it.
