Tears of the Kingdom Spoilers Thread

Don't think we're gonna treat the Fierce Deity Sword as being the real deal since the whole thing with the FD sword and armor is that it's meant to be a transformation not armor you just put on and a weapon you pick up.
Wouldn't even matter tbh, the FD equipment has long since lost its power. It probably is the actual thing, it just wouldn't matter because it no longer contains the same power it once did.

Ganondorf should still be 4-C since he broke the Master Sword, something that not even Demise his star busting thunderstorms can do 🗿

Good on him, still ain't beating the joker of zelda once I make a fucky with inverse bullshit and FD Link tanking Wrath's "death".

Transferring them somewhere else is the eventual plan, just sticking them on streamable for organisation sake

am still wondering as to why the devs put the helmets and stuff about the previous games in (even the fierce deity sword) like with the descriptions being somewhat less vague about it, I guess they just wanted to say that some random guy saw the myths and legends of the very past, decide to make cool head gear out of it and just unknowngly guess their names.

Because it's cool, and they had all the content made due to BOTW amiibo shit, so they just added it in.
Most do come off as being the actual equipment based on descriptions directly referencing the Link that had it.
only sus ones are The zant and midna helmet, given like, they got destroyed but they either forgot, don't care, and it's just a cameo anyway so who gives a ****.

Its probably because the items got isekai'd or brought to Hyrule through some weird time travel, that's why we have sets and weapons from every different timeline

Can't really say why all these items suddenly show up in current day Hyrule but it is funny that Majoras Mask just ended up in a chest underground at some point. Honestly Hyrule is lucky that the mask lost it's power after FD Link beat it's ass because otherwise they'd be ****** lmao.

I have VERY little hope for my Magda profile since my Eagus profile was removed. The BotW verse really does have about 3 people you can debate with, huh?

I mean, just make sure you add citations and scans this time, and any value above 9-B with a calc.
You could also like, do what everyone else does and post the sandbox before publishing to get input so any **** ups or issues can be solved beforehand.

I get why the verse is so small.
Bruh we have like a fucktillion pages, like legit something like 70?
If anything we have way to much given the quality of 90% of them.

We want good, detailed, fleshed-out, yet concise profiles.
That could be small and quick like a Bokoblin with maybe ten scans needed?
Or it could require a year and a thousand scans like BOTW Link.

If you want to make or work on profiles you can, but, you need to get them looked at first and be willing to accept criticism and potential changes.

I do agree about the quality part though. The gap in detail between most of the Hyrule Warriors pages and the HW Phantom Ganon page is staggering.

On a good note, I did find an OP feat that can be scaled to all Hylians.

After completing a single dungeon and going back to Lookout Landing, Jerrin mentions that she was sweeping really hard and accidentally knocked a hole in the stone wall with her broom. It appears to be just a bit shorter than Link in size.
The stone wall was most likely just weak or fragile, it wouldn't make sense for every hylian to sweep the floor with wall level force

Yeah I think we should see what that section of the wall looked like before she knocked a hole into it, if it's indistinguishable from the rest of the wall then yeah pretty solid 9-B feat (And kinda consistent, BOTW shows random Hylians without training can kinda hold out a little against red Bokoblins) but if it's like cracked or something that I don't think we can cook with it

Tbh probably the case, if it looked fucky beforehand, it'd be like taking a bat (assuming she was going hard, iirc she was pissy at the time right?) and hitting a 10k-year-old wall, which isn't exactly 9-B.

If it didn't have a tell, it might be 9-B, though the fact it happened off-screen is a tad of an issue, we don't know the extent of the destruction, did she just crack it? Split a piece of it in half and it fell apart? Fragged it? Completely obliterated it? Like she obviously cleaned up the aftermath off-screen, so it's hard to tell what it'd even be.
Luckily we don't need calcs for 9-B and below so a basic 9-B might work assuming it wasn't compromised before hand but this is probably better as a supporting feat to a more solid 9-B calc then the foundation itself.

I actually completed the tunnel before I did a dungeon. The wall looked identical to everything around it on both sides. If it had been cracked or something, they probably thought the players would think they could blow it up with a bomb or something.

So that woman scales above Link and Bomb Flowers?

Something to note for Link, in "Gourmets Gone Missing", four Hylians were left too sick to even move because they had used monster parts in a recipe and eaten it. Obviously, Link can do the same, getting just a bad taste in his mouth, so decent Resistance to Disease Manipulation and even just regular Disease Manipulation if someone ingests his monster parts.

Makes sense, he's also unaffected by the miasma of Ganondorfs Gloom which also makes normal Hylians sick. Links immune system just built different.

I think it's basically instantly, like people come down sick the second they come into contact with it (The miasma form of Gloom anyway, the goop just erodes your life force directly until you're dead)

Can you find the side quests that shows villagers getting sick from it instantly?

It's actually a feat that's talked about in BOTW much like the pot lid beam deflect.
