Kamen Rider Saber:

Ruby Rose.

On average, the swordman from Sword of Logos have to fight against Megid on weekly to possibly monthly basis. Megid being an intelligence, borderline immortal, ancient book demons with abilities that can range from straightforward (Grow big, making massive swarms of enemies) to gimmicky OHK like Medusa, the different in threat level are quite high. But most of the time the Swordman triumph over them from sheer swordmanship and good old Seiken abilities.

For people that he's peer with with including Espada who is currently the most talented swordman in this generation of Seiken wielder. Seiken by itself take a lifetime for one to be wield properly and Touma just pick that bitch up from the dirt like no problem. Peer to someone like Slash who can pin point invisible enemies and fight them off by hearing alone.

The enemies he encounter including Desast, who is an ancient Megid who have already prey on previous Seiken users back in the ye old day, he can easily sniff out opponent's action and their attacks patterns even from the like of Sebala who regularly sparred against her brother...who can constantly spams King Crimson with no repercussions, and without that he can easily handle himself against elemental intang spams swordman (Saber in the future arc) and 2000 years old or so swordman who is one of the very first, most revered swordman in the organisation history for his skill, can easily copies techniques that he saw with a glance by sheer skill alone (Saikou). He also defeat Calibur who is also the most talented swordman of the previous generation, and have successfully killing all of the other Seiken wielders as well, Calibur also have special precogs which allow the user to see the many, many, doomed timelines from beginning to end on repeat for "yes" which hones his skill even further from basically experiencing world end scenarios for "yes" amount of times.

So what stops Rwby from just blitzing constantly with her semblance? I'm not even going to gra her skill list, I am that tired of RWBY matches, I'll just say that the experience you posted is good and all but we need the actual skill feats and shit cause the list you posted is causing me to go: "Rubyskillfucks GG"

Touma's intelligence: Genius, possibly Extraordinary Genius

Ruby's intelligence: Gifted

RWBY supporters: "b-b-but skill scaling chain"

Also like, just looking at Saber's intelligence section isn't exactly genius combat skill, intelligence, sure! But skill? Eh I'm gonna need feats to say

Touma constantly sparred against both Kenzan and Espada who's their main abilities is. "ah, speed blitz, shake my hand"

Slash is someone who is good enough in term of skill that he can reflect, dodge and come out unharmed against opponent that is over 10x more powerful than himself (Slash VS Dragonic Knight).

And again, Saber defeated Caliber, his own precog give him effectively nigh infinite experience against opponent by virtue of him experiencing many, many lifetimes of failure fighting off world ending scenarios, many if not almost all of them including against fighting against the various Seikens wielders, naturally including Saber.

And he got trounced in a 1 V 1. This is not an outlier either as Touma then proceed to also bodied Caliber Jr in what can barely be described as a fight.

And I'm not sure what do you qualified as "actual skill feat" since Desast alone predicting and fighting against someone who have regularly sparred against master swordman with the penchant to spams King Crimson with no mercy against people several tiers weaker than himself should count as an actual skill feat.

Excellent, could be a halfway fair match then.

That's a level of dodging that someone Ruby scales to in skill kinda does already, dodge-goding peeps ain't exactly new here

Which doesn't mean he WON every time, or even put up a real fight, if he got trounced by Saber even armed with that experience then that's generally just a precog/clairvoyance feat for him, basically meaning Saber always skill stomped him unless this timeline is just more janked then the others.

Because a lot of it just, doesn't. "Best Swordsmaster of the generation" doesn't mean shit if said generation has like no skill feats to begin with, it's just "I can use a sword better than this person, you don't know how skilled that person is, but I can!"

I guess I'll grab the skill list for Ruby...

Yeah ion see how Rwby is anywhere near Saber in terms of skill going off their profiles, let alone skill stomping. But Reaper implied a skill list for Rwby so i'll wait for that.

there's a massive skill chain based off of a bunch of power creep due to RWBY's mediocre writing

Basically Cinder and Raven are god in terms of skill since Cinder fodderizes Team RWBY despite them winning against the most skilled huntsmen of Atlas, the most technologically advanced kingdom in Remnant, and Raven outclasses Cinder in skill in their fight at Haven

Yes, RWBY is mediocre at best and I personally dislike it heavily.

Which is why Cinder and Raven have 0 reason to be mentioned in any Ruby match cause they don't scale lol

Also I find it kinda funny that @Scottycj256 here talks about RWBY's skill being just fighting other people mostly when Saber's is the exact same thing lmao

At the bottom of the skill chain is aura users as a whole. While every living being in RWBY technically has Aura, actually being able to utilize it for things such as defense, regen, and senses requires years of training and a high enough degree of martial skill (and yes you actually need general skill for it) that only a small percentage of the population of the entire planet ever become skilled enough to utilize their aura. Of that small percentage, an even smaller percentage ever become skilled enough to manifest/control a Semblance (yes semblances are also skill-based). To reach this small percentage comes to the second half of the bottom of the chain: Almost every character worth their salt in RWBY has spent their entire life training in combat and can fight hordes of Grimm with little issue (Almost because Jaune exists). The entirety of the main cast of RWBY was initially enrolled at Beacon Academy, one of the most prestigious combat schools in the world, with almost everyone who was accepted there having been trained for almost their entire life to fight monsters, and each one that was not professionally trained requiring a skill display overseen by Ozpin, who has the composite skill of several thousand professional huntsmen that he accumulated over his immortal lifetime.

TL;DR, Skill Baseline = Having a lifetime of combat training, being able to solo hordes of monsters that can easily kill you if you make a single mistake, being part of the single-digit population of the planet skilled enough in martial combat to be able to subconsciously project your soul as a defensive barrier and being skilled enough in martial combat to project your soul as a superpower, and being recognized as one of the most skilled fighters in the world by a guy with millennia of composite combat skill

Thats the baseline for skill in the verse.

Ruby is well above the average Beacon student, noted as always excelling above her peers in combat training, to the point that even though she was two years away from being eligible to join Beacon she was admitted due her combat prowess impressing Ozpin, with him noting that she was already a master at wielding one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed (Again, Oz is tens of thousands of years old and has spent the majority of his lifetimes training in combat as well as training other huntsmen and even entire armies). Even before the Beacon Arc Ruby had been personally trained by her uncle Qrow, one of the most skilled professional huntsmen on the planet, and had heavily inspired her fighting style from his. In combat Ruby is capable of taking on entire hordes of Grimm on her own and walking away without a scratch and utilizing the different functionalities of the Crescent Rose, such as the massive recoil from the rifle aspect of the weapon and the weapon's transformative capabilities, in tandem with each other and her Semblance in order to maintain an edge over her opponent. Basically every named character is around this level of skill in the early seasons.

Now for Velvet. Velvet is able to perfectly and instantly mimic the exact moves that she observes other people use in combat as well as utilize multiple different fighting styles simultaneously, both armed and unarmed. Thanks to Anesidora, Velvet is also able to copy fighting styles that utilize weapons, and she is able to wield the weapons that she copies just as effectively as their original user. To date that we know of, Velvet is able to simultaneously utilize the fighting styles and weapons of Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Nora Valkyrie, Sun Wukong, Penny Polendina, Coco Adel, Peter Port, Reese Chloris, Fox Alistar, Vega Bleu, Yatsuhashi Daichi, Russel Thrush, Roy Stallion, Neptune Vasilias, Brawnz Ni, Bartholomew Oobleck, Flynt Coal, Edward Caspian, and Scarlet David. Of note, every person listed spent their entire lives training in combat and several of them are professional huntsmen with decades of combat experience.

Moving up the chain we have Nebula Violette, who not only outmatched Velvet in a 1v1 test of martial arts skill, but was directly stated to be more skilled than Velvet in combat despite Velvet mixing numerous fighting styles to try to throw her off in their fight.

Simply put, Ruby in this arc is comparable in skill to Blake, who in turn is comparable to Sun who is stated in Before the Dawn to be more skilled in combat than Scarlet David who outmatched Nebula in a 1v1 fight.

As for her own feats, on top of the stuff from before, Ruby has become skilled to the point of mastering her semblance, and doing so to a degree that using it in combat is, as described by Ruby herself, effectively instinctive. She regularly uses it both in cqc and at a distance, able to constantly stay in her opponent's blind spot and using her massive speed amp to avoid attacks while also constantly attacking, as well as having the ability to use it to rapidly put a massive amount of distance between herself and her opponent if need be, allowing her to pepper the opponent with ranged attacks from unpredictable angles while keeping out of their range. Her marksmanship also increased to the point that she can curve the trajectory of her bullets to hit targets that dodged her shots.

Ruby is also a highly competent analyst, and due to her obsession with weapons she has the ability to tell the exact function and mechanics of new weapons just by looking at them for a few seconds, including understanding their weaknesses and how to exploit them. She's also the strategist and tactician of her team, having come up with plans on the fly to beat Grimm that were strong enough to overpower each member of her teams individually, as well as understanding her teammates' techniques, semblances, strengths, and weaknesses to the point of being able to create entire tandem attacks and fighting styles for each pairing of her team members to maximize their combat ability while exploiting their strengths and covering their weaknesses, something that has allowed them to defeat opponents that were sigificantly stronger than each member individually.

TLDR, pretty ****** skilled

Now that I did all my finals and delve a deeper look into Saber's lore, backstory, and characters. Saber's skill might be far higher than I anticipated and I made the Saber profile. So.... you want a short version or a long version with background and shit?
I definitely want the long version, so we can do shit like put it in a blog to throw at people, if he skillstomps here(he might I don't know) then he probably stomps in general lol

Megid: Megid are monsters that are immortal and can be revived by opening their books. The ones in this arc are the Golem Megid, three Medusa Sisters, a Goblin Gang, Hanzaki, a Piranha army, an Ant Army, Queen Ant Megid, and 5 Ugly Duckling Megid. It is unknown whether all of them learn from their deaths but we do know that there are some who do. I'll go over them later.

There are also the 4 General Megid that are far stronger/skilled than the previous; Storious, Legeiel, Zooous, and Desast. Storious, Legeiel, and Zooous were originally humans. After discovering the Wonder World and the Almighty Book (A book containing the records of everything in history from beginning to end), they each ripped out one the pages and that transformed them into Megid. Storious became the Megid of stories, Legeiel became the Megid of Divine Beasts, and Zooous became the Megid of animals. The Megid's jobs are to take a portion of a place, convert it into books, and make new Megid out of those books. The Kamen Riders of each generation not only have to fight against hordes and hordes of normal Megid whom they already have trouble against, they all have faced the 4 Megid that have massacred their teachers, parent figures, and predecessors. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the riders are killed in battle against them.

Sword of Logos: A 2 thousand year old organization dedicated to fighting the Megid. They seek out the best of the best swordsmen to fight the Megid. Even with the best of the best swordsmen, The 4 General Megids are shown to kill them with varying difficulty. You’d have to be Daichi (The guy that was the most skilled in his generation. Current Kamen Rider Calibur) levels of skill in order to face the 4 generals and even then, you would most likely die against them as shown when Storious stomped an upgraded Calibur.

You’d have to be a handful (tens) of the best swordsmen in the world to become a part of the org and you’d have to be in the top 4 - 10 of that to wield a Seiken (Holy Sword) and become a Kamen Rider. There’s these Kamen Riders that are in each generation: Saber, Blades, Espada, Kenzan, Buster, Slash, Calibur, Sabela, and Durendal.

We don’t know exactly what they did or their feat but we know one thing; each generation has a Kamen Rider Calibur. From this we know that each generation’s Kamen Riders have fought and sparred with a person that goes through countless timelines in which they face world-ending scenarios each time (Doesn’t actually go through but the precognition is so strong that the scenarios feel very real and they permanently change the personalities and beliefs of each user). Zooous is a character that has RPL that once he sees a move, that move will never work on him again. Also each time he loses, he gets permanently stronger and more skilled. Since we know the level of precog each Calibur has, we also know that it is VERY likely Zooous has RPLed from many of them. Legeiel and Storious would scale of course.

So the average Kamen Rider predecessors scale to all of that. The current generation gets far more skilled than their predecessors.

But how do we know how skilled the previous Kamen Riders were without knowing their feats? That’s why we have the Four Sages. The Four Sages are the council of the org and are the originators of every sword technique to have existed in Sword of Logos. They are nicknamed, “The Ultimate Swordsmen” and have existed for a long time, presumably as long as the current Master of Logos (Leader of SoL of course). They recently died due to an assassination but when they revived in the final episodes of Saber, they shitstomped all of the Saber riders (EoS arc, when the Saber riders scales to Blades THS, a form that has 20,000 years of culminated skill and techniques, and Xross Saber, a form that theoretically have 6,235,300 combinations of attacks, can stomp Solomon, and restore the world with one sword swing) without effort. And at this point, the Saber riders scale above Master of Logos. Because they have been alive for so long, it is VERY likely that they have trained the swordsmen of each generation. Although not that the swordsmen have their skills by being taught by them, being able to train and spar with them is still very valuable.

Saber: Without prior training, Saber was able to wield Rekka, a Seiken. In addition to what I said earlier, A Seiken requires the user to be a combat expert in order to wield, let alone master. Episode 1 and Saber’s first fight. Golem Megid is a Megid that can turn into a large size. Rekka literally appeared in front of Saber out of thin air and the episode told him, good luck against it. Saber automatically knew what to do on the spot and he defeated Golem Megid with ease. By ease, I mean Saber was styling on this guy. Dodging every move, and dancing around him. Next ep, Saber immediately figures out the link between the Grasshopper and Ant Megids, by referencing a book about Grasshoppers and Ants. Saber and Blades wipe through hundreds of Ant Megids easily. This is also the first time Saber used his bike and he used it perfectly, even climbing up a beanstalk as it grew. Speaking of beanstalk, Saber got the beanstalk book and then used it perfectly without prior knowledge. He turns into Dragon Jackun, a volume 2 form with a completely different fighting style than base form. He even thought of better ideas than Blades to use the book more effectively to kill the Grasshopper Megid. Next episode, Saber fights the Hanzaki Megid. Hanzaki Megid is far stronger than the previous Megids due to the ability to RPL every time he loses. Here Saber assumes another Volume 2 form which is Dragon Peter. By RPLing, the Megid got stronger again and Saber and Blades struggled to fight him again. Saber then masters the Volume 3 forms which even Blades was not ready for. Reminder that Saber is days into his swordsmanship and Blades is decades into it and is a very gifted individual. Saber then stomps the Megid that stomped him previously. Then the Piranha Megid appears and there’s thousands of them (some are big and some are small). Saber in this part masters Crimson Dragon which is a matching Volume 3 form, a form that strains the body heavily and takes a long time to master. This took Blades hours of Accelerated Development training in liberation, an area of training that speeds up training albeit very difficult. Saber masters this the first time he uses it. There are other episodes where Saber fights and stomps the rest of the Megids.

TLDR so far: The baseline for being a part of Sword of Logos is to be a select few tens of the best swordsmen in Sword of Logos. The baseline to be a Kamen Rider in Saber is to be the top swordsmen of the few tens of people that get into Sword of Logos. Copying and using entirely different fighting style is a standard things for them to do and they have shown to master them in seconds. Each generation scales to the Calibur of their generation, a Kamen Rider that is able to precog countless timelines. Any of the Megid generals can stomp the Saber riders in skill. Saber figures out very creative ways to beat the monsters due to his knowledge on books. It took Saber a few minutes to master something that takes a lifetime of a gifted person to learn, it took Saber a few seconds to master a dangerous form (Volume 3) that takes a gifted person to learn in decades, and it took the same amount of time to learn an even more dangerous form (Matching Volume 3) that took a gifted person to train in hours of accelerated development training. This is even more impressive knowing that The Volume 2 forms each have different fighting styles (Dragon Jackun, Dragon Peter, Dragon Hedgehog, Dragon Arthur, Dragon Bremen, Dragon Alangina, Dragon Eagle, and Saiyuu Dragon all have different abilities and ways of fighting. Saber easily mastered them in succession). The Volume 3 Forms (Dragon Peter Hedgehog, Crimson Dragon, and Dragon Eagle Arthur) are even harder to learn because they mix 3 different fighting styles into one. All of this was learned within seconds. Not only that, they would instantly know how to utilize the abilities even if they have never been shown before. Blades and Espada catch up to his skill quickly. Buster, Slash, Kenzan, and Calibur are well above that already.

Saber then goes to Avalon and gains trials to get King of Arthur and Dragonic Knight (The trials aren’t told to the viewers but I have a hunch). Apparently this trial is to test whether or not Saber is worthy of King of Arthur and Dragonic Knight. Saber solves the riddle to King of Arthur in a few minutes. The riddle was basically an entirely white room and a guy saying the same thing over and over again and Saber had to do something (I forgot what) for King of Arthur to appear. Saber kills another one of the trials in literally one-two moves. The Saber riders are struggling with Calibur who has the help of two Medusa Megids. Saber comes back from Avalon, plans out a whole strategy plan in less than one day and the fight goes perfectly planned and the Saber riders defeat Calibur and the Medusas. This awakens the true power of King of Arthur and completes yet another trial, making 3 trials completed in less than one day. With the new found power, Saber was able to stomp Calibur. Calibur then gets a new form called Jaou Dragon which he was able to stomp 4 Saber riders at once. In the final showdown between Calibur and the 3 generals, the Saber Riders were struggling heavily. After Blades gets King Lion Daisenki, Blades was able to stomp the 3 generals by himself. Saber gets Dragonic Knight and automatically learns how to use it and stomp Jaou Dragon. Dragonic Knight and King Lion Daisenki are very similar and appear back to back so Saber in Dragonic Knight can definitely defeat the 4 generals by himself at this point. Now, Saber would be far more skilled than himself from a few episodes ago.

Saber and his group have fought and defeated the 4 generals in this arc.

Zooous: A megid that gets stronger and more skill with every loss he takes. I said that a move that he sees once before will never work on him again. He has RPLed from many Kamen Riders that are more skilled than the current Riders (Zooous said Blades’ master was far more skilled than him).
Storious: A manipulator who orchestrated events from 2 millennia ago to now. Storious is a Megid that effortlessly stomps the Saber riders before King Lion Daisenki and Dragonic Knight. Storious has a multitude of haxes that the Saber raiders have to deal with. He doesn’t really do much in this arc but he becomes the big bad that scales far above the Four Sages.

Movie: Saber and crew have to fight Falchion, a swordsman who is equal to Saikou who is a 2 thousand year old swordsman who became a legendary Swordsman in folklore. They were part of some of the original swordsmen in SoL (another example to prove that the previous swordsmen were no joke). Falchion carries around a Tier 2 book so Saber and crew not only have to fight him, they have to fight his army while a book is destroying two universes. Falchion also has low-godly regen so Saber was 1 v 1 fighting this guy and killed him multiple times. By this time, it was still early into the arc so he wasn’t as skilled as the end of the arc. Falchion, despite dying multiple times, was stomping Saber (Regen was kinda a boast move for him to prove a point that Saber couldn’t kill him. When Saber gained Emotional Dragon, he is capable of using it to full effects in its first use and Saber then stomped Falchion now that their AP is equalized. Saber also found a way to bypass Falchion’s regen by sealing him in a book. Note that Saber has never used any technique from Emotional Dragon before and he knew about the sealing and how to use it.

Since speed amps are prevalent here, I will talk about some of the speed amp characters and how the riders deal with them.

Espada, Kenzan, and Desast: Espada and Kenzan use speed amps very frequently. They are among the fastest in the organization. Back to the point of the Four Sages, the speed amps is a thing that they came up with. Between the sages training the Kamen Riders and the Kamen Riders training with each other, they should be more than capable of handling it. Even the slowest out of all the characters (Buster) is able to handle Desast’s speed amp with ease and Buster even trained Espada.

Kenzan vs Desast had Kenzan speeding up and circling around Desast (who has precog) and outspeeding him at every turn. Even so, Desast was able to go toe to toe with Kenzan for a brief moment. Kenzan is currently below Espada in terms of skill. When Espada went into his speed amp against Calibur, he was countered very easily. Calibur was ready for all his moves and beat Espada multiple times and by this point, Espada is even more powerful than Saber and Blades. Calibur is also a character who 1 v 3 stomped Saber, Blades, and Espada. Since the Keys are treated as the end of each arc, Saber now scales far beyond Calibur. We see this later on when Saber effortlessly stomps Kenzan.

Velvet's Semblance is Photographic Memory. It allows her to mimic people's moves, including their fighting style. She uses this in conjunction with her weapon, Anesidora, which creates hard-light copies of weapons she takes photographs of. Using this combination, she is able to use the copied weapons just as effectively as their original user. However, the weapons only last for a few hits.

Even without using weapon copies, Velvet is able to call on multiple fighting styles at once, allowing her to disorient unprepared opponents such as Nebula Violette in a one on one sparring match.

tldr their profiles need to be updated badly

That's very, very similar to Touma being able to master techniques of the Sword of Logos from a single glace. Of course, this is not the peak of their skills. Ruby does seems to have more years of experience, trained with experienced huntsmans as well as prestigious schools. Touma on the other hand is a much quicker learner, catching up to the level of skill of a Logos within weeks or even days after being stomped by them, trained under more ancient fighters, and is smarter.

I heavily underestimated Ruby’s skill here, they’re more even that I thought in terms of skills

photographic memory hmm...Do either of them have speed amps because that could be an insane benefit to Ruby.

iirc Saber also has speed amps but im not sure if they are blitz worthy. We'll have to wait and see for supporters.

Saber, as what Ixa has said, could stomp Kezan’s even while the latter was speed amped. So Touma should be capable of keeping up with Ruby pretty easily.

Oof, Rwby profiles need a updates for sure. Saber has a speed amp by going into either Dargon Eagle or Saiyuu Dragon, from which boost his overall stats (enough to stomp a person that stomped him) although not like a blitz. Anyways, what's the AP for Ruby?

6.9 tons

Ruby has a 1.8x AP difference. Not enough to be meaningful especially since Saber has RPL. I've discussed with the supporters and we've agreeed that if Rekka gets sharper, the rider himself gets stronger as well. 1. The armor manifests from the sword. 2. Everytime its been upgraded or sharpened by their blacksmith, the rider got stronger as well.

Saber can constantly amp his own AP. And massively amp himself further by using his Wonder Ride Book.

And while Ruby herself resistance to extreme heat, it would constantly chip into her aura reserved again and again due to basically every attack he made being coat in flame. Saber in Saiyuu Dragon is also much more intense, enough to basically turn people to crisp from touch. And Tatsumaki Dragon allow him to created massive AoE fire tornado that will sucked her right in due to the sheer difference in LS.

Most of Ruby dust aren't going to work either with only fire being the only element that can effectively harm him due to resistances.
