STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

One punch man has potential to be the BIGGEST project of mappa's studio, since opm is more relevant even than jjk and chainsaw man hype is already done
i hope it don't shit on opm with shitty CGI.
 
Idk, as long as they don't majorly **** up Garou vs Orochi and have decent/good animation overall I'll be satisfied.
 
It's tragic what MAPPA did to Shingeki no Kyojin, and the expectations on chainsaw man were higher than the final result.
So, I'm not gonna lie, id rather another studio
 
Something like bones, ufotable or even TOEI, we need good 2d studios.
Funny that TOEI is not that bad when the case is an anime with 12 ep

I honestly don't think MAPPA AOT is anywhere as bad as people say it is. The 3-D do look janky initially, but they look better as the series went on. That and I think the non Titan characters themselves still look really good.

MAPPA ain't exactly the choice I'd go with OPM, but it's better than the previous choice at least.
 
However, considering the sheer scale of Orochi, there is the likelihood he will be 3-D, as well as Psykorochi, who's even more massive.

the problem is: mappa tries to disguise the shitty cgi with pretty frames, and for people like me it just sucks you know…
id rather something like pierrot studio who i can be sure that would give us some nice frames and amazing animated big scale feats
but anyway, im just satisfied that we are getting another season soon enough

you can also compare, levi vs beast titan round 1 and round 2, THE DIFFERENCE IS A MOUNTAIN TO AN ANT, those trees falling in slow motion made me wanna die
 
Depends what team works on OPM. Studio is just the first part. Wait until we get the staff.

If we get the same team working on CSM and JJK, it will be amazing.

And for those who wanted old madhouse back to animate OPM.

Mappa is literally the closest thing to old Madhouse. So you should be happy.

Mappa is formed from old madhouse members.

Imagine if the rest of the seasons also get top-level animation. Then when OPM is over, everyone will look back and Season 2 will just be "that one season".
 
Mappa done too many anime, now includes Vinland saga ss2, Chainsaw man, Aot ss4 part 3, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Hell's Paradise, Yuri!!! On Ice (Movie), Kakegurui Twin, Zombieland Saga (Movie) and another OPM, they work too hard. I hope it doesn't come out sloppy.
 
Yeah, the main reason I was hoping it ain't MAPPA was cause of the horror these employees have to go through already.

Dawg give them a break.

opm is here since 2015, and saitama is WAY more famous around the world than gojo and the one in CSM that i dont remember the name
 
in 5 years you will see, saitama will still be relevant and CSM will become a kind of “akame ga kill” that none remembers 👽

MAPPA's Attack on Titan looked great imo
 
something that makes me laugh is that, apparently the CGI is bad, but I literally saw myself kengan ashura with the cgi and it didn't bother me.
and others see 2 seconds of CGI and like they want to cut their wrists because they really hate it.
seriosly,what is the problem with the CGI?is me the one who is weird for not having much problem with that?
