STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Yeah, Garou's entrance isn't great although I don't dislike the design, but leaving out the God level speech was a bit weird, idk why he can't speak. Golden Sperm also got butchered, the entire thing with him feeling great pain for his other cells which need to sacrifice their lives to become Golden Sperm was literally left out completely. It should've at least had two or three extra pages added to it. Murata was kind of lazy about that I think. But otherwise it was great, as was the chapter. And yeah full power Bang>Darkshine by this point, 100%.

I'm guessing the God speech comes when Fubuki fights psykos, when he can finally speak by that point.

Yes, him crying for losing so many cells and the context of the scene, much more emotional, dammit.
 
Yeah, and I don't know if it works. I prefer if he took his time with it.

And generally, I think the Manga vastly improves upon the webcomic. But the S-Class vs monsters section is where I feel that the webcomic is better than it's manga counterpart. I just hope it becomes worth it when AG finally arrives
 
so many ******* whiners on reddit, bitching about how golden sperms transformation was bad. like we get it, 400 other people complained already. we dont need more karens. murata will fix it. just wait.

I think that kinda shows us the massive jump in EC's reactive evolution. And how about Bomb? Where do we place him?
 
Fubuki said he’s just as strong as Bang, but she didn’t know about the Abandonment, so it’d just be Bang = Bomb < Abandonment Bang
 
I could see ROVER possibly scaling to Full Power Bang but only because he came out unscathed from the CDSF performed by both Bang and Bomb who were both buffed by Fubuki.
 
so golden sperm is actually made of gold? that makes no sense since gold has very weak durability for OPM standards.
 
I'm pretty he shares similar properties as Gold, but that doesn't make him as durable as Gold obviously
 
Also I kinda wonder what's happening with the other heroes like Zombieman, Amai mask or child emperor
 
Honestly I don't doubt that he is literally made of Gold, authors are clueless about VS Scaling anyway

For me that's not a real problem

some authors are really ******* stupid about power levels, but not murata. he definitely seems to care at least a bit more than others. furthermore, characters in OPM are constantly surviving giant explosions and shit, and then saying that this waaaay stronger character is made out of gold is illogical, and it doesnt take a genius to realize that. golden sperm has higher durability than darkshine, and darkshine made a joke out of water jets that can pierce through solid metal. theres no way ONE/murata legitimately believe that hes made of gold.
 
If you think it’s so obvious that he’s not made of gold, why did you ask in the first place-

i was implying that the writing is bad. i knew from the start that theres no way hes actually made of gold so murata/ONE adding that line was dumb. thats all. looking back on it though, the way i wrote it made it look like i was arguing that he was made of gold, when i was actually arguing the opposite. the phrasing was mb

The writing isn’t bad, his name is golden sperm, acid had no effect on him, hence he made that remark. It was all just for his introduction. Why do you people put so much stock on language? You have universe busting people who say “he’s as hard as a brick wall” when they can’t damage someone. It’s 110% obviously figure of speech.
