STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Genos later takes down a Dragon level threat (composed of 12-ish members) with Scorching Core. The guy could have just been fast.
 
I looked at the raws, and it seems like Genos said "yes, I won, but it was a strong level Demon and I wasn't unscathed."

The threat wasn't somewhat strong amongst Demon level threats, it was just a powerful Demon level outright (if I'm right, that is). Blue, who later defeated a Dragon level threat with extreme effort, even comments that the chances of defeat are heightened due to their weird abilities.

Edit: Does anyone know what it says on the 20 km sign in the panel? It could give some sizes for cities. I'm assuming it's A-City.

Edit 2: It's the distance to A-City.

I know Emirp may not like Homeless scaling getting changed right now, but I'm doing an insurance calc on the new shot of the crater + a related calc on Extreme Carpet Bombing. This chapter has firmly legitimized my previous calc's width and length (1-2 block crater width is valid), but it's given me some spicy new calc material. I'm not done yet, but when I will let you all know if it means anything for scaling.

Considering not much scale to HE as of now, seems fine.
 
Also would Gums biting Genos be considered AP or LS? And if it does for AP, would it apply only for his teeth?

Who do we have scaling to HE, Golden Sperm (ruined HE's day by existing), Darkshine's durability and VFU's durability?

I think I should make a separate calc to find Iaian's and Spring Mustachio's AP from deflecting the extreme carpet bombing

Technically only the dragons and above. Golden Sperm scaling to HE might be viable considering HE saw him a threat. Maybe not Darkshine or VFU tbh. The former got completed wrecked by a single punch, and I doubt GS was going all out on Darkshine.

So yeah, I think GS being a solid 7-A seems legit. Unsure about the rest

Can I just scale Darkshine's dura to the extreme carpet bombing then, since he was in the epicenter
 
Also an interesting thing to me, is that black sperm seems to be weak to blunt force attacks, as shown how he got destroyed easily by metal bat, but Atomic Samurai struggled against him, mainly because Atomic Samurai focuses on cutting down enemies.

Yes, that was established a few chapters ago when AS started hitting him with the side of his sword. Manga BS can't multiply if there's nothing left to multiply from.
 
As for Genos losing an arm to a demon in webcomic, it was off screened so we don't know if the monster could keep up or just had an ability that made speed unnecessary.
 
A middle of the pack high demon or whatever Genos is at that point shouldn't be = Flashy Flash. If he was he'd never take a scratch from anyone that isn't a high dragon or above, he'd be too fast, yet we see him struggling with mid-high demons.
 
We heard about him struggling with one almost completely unknown high-level Demon off-screen. That's it. If anything, there's tons of anti-feats against that, including Genos already being high-level Demon during the MHA arc, statements from ONE himself that Genos is very powerful even amongst S-Classes with these upgrades, him keeping up with Sonic/Flash on numerous occasions (ONE even says a fight between him and Sonic would be inconclusive, although I can't find if this is for pre- or post-Psychic Sisters), his fight with an actual Dragon level threat, and the parallel evolution with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.

Tbh, it doesn't really even matter that much. Everyone is scaled from a Speed-o'-Sound Sonic that occurred in the DSK arc.

Edit: The quote about Sonic and Genos seems to be referring to Post-Psychic Sisters.

Since I found that 20 km figure from the manga, we can calculate Genos' statement of the meteor destroying surrounding cities.

Assuming 50 psi (nuclear bomb levels, which is decently accurate for something of this destructive power) gets 2.233 gigatons. Using 20 gets 643 megatons.

Did the Garou durability negation get accepted?

Also, can someone give me the full reason for why Black Sperm's powers vary? I need the full explanation. This means that Genos and all those who scale to Genos will just stay at "At least Low 7-B"
 
From what I remember the black sperms can harm everyone but Darkshine, so they should all be comparable to the others even the weakened ones.
 
 
I know but I’m just showing how Black Sperm copies vary in number and power since you asked for the full explanation. The 2.5k Black Sperm only somewhat harming Metal Bat before getting one shot is still valid same with an unknown number of Black Sperms hurting Genos while another unknown number being unable to do so.
