STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Can u imagine if we used the anime shit and decided to calc melting the planet lmao

The anime very clearly portrays melting much more than the manga does
 
So far the best stuff in OPM is (correct me if I'm wrong):

AP: CSRC from Boros

(Travel) Speed: Saitama blitzing Boros for an individual character and Boros' ship for the fastest thing in the verse so far

Lifting Strength: Rocks lift from Tatsumaki

Striking Strength: Multi Continent Class, likely far higher from Saitama

Durability: Multi Continent Class, likely far higher from Saitama again lol

Stamina: Extremely high (Was able to fight for 140 hours straight. Can outlast Carnage Kabuto's Carnage Mode, which lasts for one week. Was able to defeat Pureblood despite getting 200 lethal wounds in 30 minutes, and also managed to kill all the remaining monsters singlehandedly) for Zombieman

Range: planetary with CSRC/energy blasts from Boros

Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius from Metal Knight (since he taught CE I'll say he's smarter)

Some extra stuff:

Highest Tier: At least High 6-A, likely far higher from Saitama

Age: At least 300,000,000 years old from Ancient King

Standard Equipment: His Tanktop from Tanktop Master

The highest Stamina goes to zombieman, then Carnage Kabuto. CK can fight for a week straight and Zombieman can outlast that and keep fighting

For giant characters right? I'm looking to calc the KE of the giant spear of light Tatsumaki threw, I would assume KE would be the best method for a giant projectile thrown at speeds high enough to cover kilometers in seconds.
 
The spear is fine since that's an object being tossed as a feat. I'm talking about getting KE from EC or Beefcake and scaling people to that.
 
I still think the EC High 6-C calc looks pretty inflated.

Boros and Orochi and likely the likes of HE, black sperm and Glory Gyoro and all above her scale to post molt EC

Upscaling centipede weight/mass seems fine, EC should be as dense or denser anyways. The most important thing to calc is the speed, because then we could find a more legit KE, especially if we can find the mass of the body section EC uses to charge against Bang/Bomb. If EC is hypersonic or something (via scaling to the Genos beam), then we could get good results even with a portion of EC.
 
I say that and I have a hard time thinking of how to find the speed. We know EC was fast enough to intercept a Beam from Genos, but how do we find the beam speed in the first place?

Except we know EC is already MHS tho, to put him at anything other than that would be false, and to use MHS would be calc stacking

That's why we find a speed for EC that has nothing to do with our scaling here on vswiki, we find the speed of the beam comparing to real world objects and determine how fast it travels, and then compare how fast EC moves to intercept said beam.
 
The thing is I'm very bad at scaling things via angle and FOV, so I would need help in order to deduce the beam speed. Maybe we could use Phoenix Man's flying speed and say that he's travelling at the speed of a bald eagle (the bird closest to a real life phoenix) and then find the speed of the beam and EC based on the distance they cover relative to Phoenix Man. Bald eagles fly at 22 m/s and dive at 44 m/s, IDK if that would give any realistic results (I doubt the beam is slower than supersonic)

The anime timeframe for this would make EC pretty slow, since it takes the beam like 5 seconds to travel 300 meters. With a speed like that you could outrun the beam on the ground in a Ford escort (60 m/s vs. 64 m/s) lol.

With his currently listed weight, EC needs to go Mach 10 to get a 7-B KE and if we multiply EC's mass by 14 (his length here: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...Man_-_Elder_Centipede's_normal_attack_potency), then he needs to go mach 3 to get 7-B, which is not an implausible speed for him

The thing is, we can see EC's supersonic, in the panel where he rises up to block Genos's beams we see a bunch of shockwaves around him, so the anime timeframe would be selling him shorter than his manga version. We'll have to find some way of scaling it that matches up with that. Maybe we could just say the beam is speed of sound and scale from that?
