What's the proposed alternative to current upscaling? Will upscaling just no longer be a thing?

I don't really see why it needs to be changed but whatever. I'm afraid that they might reduce to something so miniscule that to the point that upscaling might not even need to exist, like 1.1x

Well... I can only say that Atomic, Spiral Garou, Darkshine, Bomb and Bang, Rover, Genos, Drive Knight, Puri Puri and Psykosplane should all scale, some up and some down depending on how we do things in the future

I think if Gums pulled a souped-up version of Hundred Eyes Octopus's feat and starts eating the city and then grows into an ever-eating, large size type 3 multi-mouthed monster, that would be pretty cool

But on a serious note, this reminds me we need to calc the KE of the spear thrust against Orochi. Despite turning the majority of the Monster Association into a giant spear, empowering it with her psychic aura and throwing it at presumably supersonic speeds (the spear seems to have crossed a distance of several thousand meters in a couple seconds at most), the ball of Goo Orochi survived relatively intact. Tatsumaki had to drill half way to down to the mantle to grind Orochi down into nothing
The fact that the s-class heroes were able to damage Orochi at all considering that is quite impressive. I would say we should downscale them from the KE of the aforementioned attack which is very possibly High 7-A. (EDIT I say that forgetting that we may need to just say that the s-class are "at most X" if downscaling is changed)

I could see the miniscule possibility of saitama and fubuki (Though it'll likely just be fubuki falling for saitama and not vice versa), but Tats and saitama is just... nah

Fubuki and Saitama definitely has more backing (Saitama and Tatsumaki literally have one interaction in the manga, and even then she interacted with Genos more than Saitama), but Fubuki’s “attraction” is definitely just her wanting Saitama in her group to make it stronger. And like you said, even if it’s an actual romantic attraction, it’s definitely one-sided.

If it means anything, in the Jet Drive Arrow feat the post-molt carapace was calculated to be 27.44 meters. If EC kept the same proportions he would be at least 2249.5 meters long. Of course, he could very well be over 4 kilometers post-molt when we consider the parts underground

Due to a lack of content, the OPM community has warped into a twisted fascimile of the MHA community. Good luck not hearing about imaginary romances between all characters that have at least 5 seconds of shared screentime.
Lord help me, I hope this never happens. I don't really follow anime/manga outside of OPM and vsbattles for this reason

I don't have a problem with romance in fiction, I just don't like unnecessary shipping. If ONE decides to include some romance into the story that isn't out of character I'm all for it.
Good point about the age though. Despite that we still do see some disgusting stuff. The fact that there are Child-Emperor and Zombieman shippers in Japan and Korea horrifies me though. Not a fan of pedophilia (Zombieman is functionally an adult, regardless of his actual physical age).
