Only thing I've seen is people complaining that it lost what made OPM an entertaining show. Which was the adventures of Saitama and Genos, as well as Saitama one shotting Monster's being the main comedic aspect of OPM. Which I wholeheartedly disagree with.

For one, it'd be boring as hell if the series just kept the same theme forever. Two, it'd be a waste of the potential this series has to just ignore the world around Saitama and Genos, focusing only on those two characters the whole time. ONE deciding to take a more serious and outward approach to it after season 1 was undoubtedly the best choice.

I like how OPM starts out small, and the world just kinda grows bigger when we meet people like Genos

The season 2 OPM while pales in comparison to season 1 and is overall eh, it ain't bad. Could also be a lot worse (Seven Deadly Sins)

Also is it just me but does the animation seem to increase in quality everytime Garou is on screen

I wish they waited a couple of years for when this arc actually finished...

I feel like JC Staff just used opm for some quick cash

Anime Garou is powerful with reality warping that he can make anything look good just by appearing near it he should become a fashion model lol

I heard that apparently Garou already has dura negation because he used his martial to internal hurt darkshine and making him bleed since the wall behind darkshine turned into sand without Garou touching it

That has no backing to it what. Sounds like headcanon

Yes, that was internal damage. Darkshine had no wound on his belly and if you notice it on the wall, the one behind was totally destroyed, while the one Darkshine was collapsed in until then, the one behind has killed first.

if that is the case then should half monster garou have dura negation?

I mean, it's not necessarily negating Darkshine's durability. Just because we don't see a wound doesn't mean it was attacking him directly inside and not harming him outside or something. It's just that the blow he took was strong enough to cause some internal bleeding. I extremely doubt Murata was trying to portray it as any kind of genuine durability negation. And even if it was, it would be a very limited form of it.

only way to fully confirm is to see if he does something similar again which is unlikely unless his fight against GS is expanded upon

its a damn shame. usually when a new chapter comes out this thread talks like crazy, but lately the chapters have been so shit and boring that theres nothing to discuss

It's really just filler and re-draws at this point. The re-draws are great and I think they improve upon the old versions, like the re-drawn Boros fight. But I have strong feeling that it means Murata and ONE have something big cooking up, likely the monster fight, and the filler and re-draws are just appetizers before the main meal.

yep. but a lot of the people on this thread are like 15 year old children. which means they were born in like 2006

I never said Garou isn’t strong, all I said was that he’s way, way, way, way stronger when he uses his actual skillset.

He tried bruteforcing Tank Top, got bullied. Then he used Flowing Water and pretty much one shot the fight.

He immediately used Flowing Water against Metal Bat and every opponent after that.

Darkshine was casually tanking sleeping Garou’s attacks, then Garou woke up, used his martial arts and destroyed Darkshine.

Etc etc.

And he’s always been pretty tanky with his insane tenacity.

Except in the case of monster garou, we know he gets progressively stronger and stronger. We seem him getting physically wrecked by TTM but then go toe to toe against someone on par with him while extremely weakened later on. We know he's surpassed someone like bang when he could outright destroy darkshine's durability through sheer force, and even dark shine himself describes garou as getting stronger. Even in the webcomic, he goes from being on oar with golden sperm and then surpassing and stomping him. There's nothing to prove that he isn't gonna surpass psykorochi at this point, especially with the narrative portraying him as wanting to be the strongest monster

I just hope Murata hasn't made as many errors with the current things he's been drawing, that way we don't get as many redraws in the future.
