Spectacular Samurai 8 Hachimaru Edition General Discussion

Anyone could make it. I suggested it but first you have to find someone who will take out the time
 
Daruma just barely scales to Ata.

Ata can slow down mid regen with "powered slash" meaning that as the teacher Daruma can do the same.

Ata used his sword telekinesis offensively.

He can trap people in a bubble that also stops their own sword telekinesis. So telekinesis power null.
 
So apart from the abilities and feats we've seen I'm previous chapters. Ata also showed he had Power null, Healing null[as daruma stated the technique he used made it difficult for him to heal] and something that seems like paralysis.

There's also Hayataro tanking the explosion created by the invention absorbing ata.
 
where the hell is the boruto discussion thread though?? Can't find it. It has been fire for the last two chapters over there too.
 
Hmm, Ata mentioned how apart from his hair color, Hachimaru was identical to the other seven. Octuplets?
 
Most likely. Everything adds up now. Furata isn't his real dad. He is just a scientist who kidnapped Hachi from them to protect him. So it's kinda a common troupe tbh. But yeah it's makes sense now
 
So...

- Resistance against soul destruction that can produce a small mountain like level flash

- Healing/Regen. null

- probably paralysis

- sword telekinesis
 
We also found out that, so long as a samurai doesn't lose their will/Hope. They won't be forsaken[meaning they'd heal/ won't die], but on the event that they do, even a simple stab with a sword could kill them.

This would also explain why the Ronin died with one slash from hachimaru
 
We now know how Samurai die. Ata confirms that once they give up and admit defeat in side Acala forsakes them. It makes sense because of the damage that Ata had compared to Hachi was way more and comparing that damage to Mujin as well.

Was a really good chapter as well man

This chapter was really good. Some nice bits I love in it were the scenes where hachi manages to form an armor on his right side, preventing him from taking damage.

The other is pg 19 when hachimaru regained his will, his sword became completely straight, even though it wasn't when the fight started. The form of the sword started getting better since he formed the armor
 
@Astral, let's not forget that Ata here is just a Samurai Soul transformed. Not the real Ata, so the damage he's taken is kinda moot in a sense.

But then we have to discuss their Regen and potential immorality.
 
That's his soul which is even better. I feel that the immortality is tied to Acala or reliant or the immortality from given by gods.
 
And yeah, Ata is definitely weakened. But always good to have bullet deflecting feats. Hachimaru doesn't scale to Ata.

Btw, that 120 fps feat, is that impressive?
 
for humans I guess it is basically top level reactions, for what he has already done...not so much but again that was before he was super buffed into a samurai.
 
Idk but it seems like reactive evolution because at speeds like Ata you naturally can't keep up and your eyes shouldn't ever become able to read that speed at point blank but Hachi was able to mid fight thanks to his experience in video games which can actually give you abilities like that but not to that degree iirc. Virtual reality game btw is what he played so everything goes to his brain so yeah he can perceive it all at high speeds.
 
If there ends up being a samurai who never gives up and gets stronger the more damage he takes he might be damn unbeatable lmao. He won't die and he gets stronger each time he gets hurt....Berserker 2.0 ƒñú
 
I am reading on it now and it seems even human and bedridden literally die in a couple minutes flat when leaving his machine that keep hims alive completely outstrips humans perception/reaction wise.
 
ok basically the fastest possible human reactions appears to be around 13 milliseconds, "bedridden" Hachimaru is 8.3 milliseconds.
 
Dude doesn't have half of his upper body, an arm, no legs, access to his techniques and still stomping everybody
 
You know it also makes sense after reading this chapter as to why Mujin, the immortal is dead. At the end, he was basically begging/praying to Fudo to not forsake him... if he had confidence/belief/will in his own survival, he'd have survived. He mentally admitted defeat. Makes sense.
