Sigurd vs Gin Ichimaru

To be fair, that's usually only a thing during a Holy Grail War, where there are other masters who can catch on to your NP as opposed to only one enemy you need to kill at the moment.

In 1v1 fights where stuff like tactics against several other opponents aren't needed, servants are usually far less reluctant to use NPs or go all out unless they're cocky like Gil or honorable, neither of which describes Sigurd.

@Vel

Is Sigurd aware he isn't in a HGW and knows that it is irrelevant whether or not his identity is revealed?

So let's get this straight Gin holds the advantage in basicallyvevery category but skill and Sigurds only way to win is one attack of a bunch that only works if he gets a hit and Gin crushes him in AP?

Okay, Gin FRA

@Gar

Um ... did you mix up their names? Sigurd is the one with the advantage in everything but AP and range (AP is negligible). Gin does win (imo) but thats because he will go for his one hit kill faster than Sigurd more often than not.

If it wasn't clear I'll be voting Gin because AP and range is the only advantage he really needs here since he pretty goes straight for Bankai it's a 1 tap via cellular destruction since he will likely go for it.

Yes every servant can turn invisible except for Arturia, and they can still see them even if they're not materialized.

Servants can't see others im spirit form but they can sense them so Sigurd isn't completely boned. He foes also have tracking runes and such to help.

Please read the prologue again, Lancer can see archer. When rin was dispelling the runes of Medusa.

Pretty sure that servant can see spririts, because they are spirits themselves.

Where is that stated in Fate? For the duration of Grail Wars, they are inside Class Containers which are basically pseudo bodies that can go intangible and invisible to save energy. Unless Servants have the feats for seeing invisible beings, they don't get to.

It's in the prolouge where where Rin and Archer is talking about the reality marble, and the servants are non-corporeal.

It's probably just a thing he does all the time.

Even when he revealed it on the Karagura Town Arc, I don't remember it being a spam button any moment he could. He even comes up close to meet Ichigo in close combat at a certain point too.

It just feels like an odd reaction just at the first moment of battle.

Oh I thought you meant his real bankai nvm then but im pretty sure he still didn't spam buto renjin

The poison makes sense as he was trying to lie to Aizen and never let him find out what his Bankai truly does, all in hopes of killing him finally. But the only place his Bankai saw extensive use was versus Ichigo if I remember well. Him doing it at first chance sounds odd.

Gin won't use KnY immediately but he will definitely go for it before Sigurd uses Bolverk. The only time we see Gin use Bankai was against Ichigo where he did so once he encountered any noticeable resistance, with Buto Renjin being used after swinging his blade at Ichigo a few times.

Anyway the stag/place of fight here is in Skandinavia, should that make a fame boost for Sigurd as advantage?
