hale stomped a yeti who in return stomped soldier, pyro and sniper.

due to stomping them, the yeti should be at least 2x more powerful than said mercs, all of whom scale to a 0.1 tons of tnt feat (https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Dargoo_Faust/Team_Fortress_2:_Scout_Survives_an_Explosio)

hale should be at least 2x as powerful as the yeti due to casually stomping him

mercs = 0.1 tons of tnt, small building level < yeti = 0.2 tons of tnt, small building level+ < hale = 0.4 tons of tnt, building level

another feat supporting the fact that he is more powerful than the mercs is the yeti feat from the comics (http://www.teamfortress.com/fateworsethanchess/#f=13). granted, bidwell's statement isn't reliable but was likely still meant to show that hale can contend with foes far above what the mercs can handle.

in terms of speed, he scales to margaret who blitzed scout (http://www.teamfortress.com/tf04_blood_in_the_water/#f=48). meaning he jumps up to supersonic+ reactions and combat speed.

also, common misconception: heavy did not prove to be as strong as hale, he merely engaged in a tug of war with margaret and even then he was quickly worn down. hale scales to margaret as he has been beating animals to death alongside her for a long time.

I do not think that we can scale definitive values from such uncertain guesswork, but "At least Small Building level, likely higher" might be acceptable.

I am not sure. Some of Scout's speed statistics seem to be based on guesswork.

"At least Small Building level, likely higher" sounds perfectly reasonable to me based on these statistics.

I don't know what Scout's speed statistics are based on, so I can't really comment there. But if they are legitimate, then the speed scaling sounds reasonable.

"at least small building level, likely higher" is already on his profile, so we wouldn't have to change anything about that besides the justification (it should be mentioned that hale is more powerful than the mercs, and one-shotted a yeti who stomped soldier, pyro and sniper)

@Antvasima: i could message knowledgeable members on tf2 and ask for their input, if that would help

@DarkGrath: scout's reaction and combat speed statistics are based on scout being able to thow things much faster than he can run himself.

Well, I suppose that this probably seems fine then, in lack of better options.

I agree with the "At least Small Building level, likely higher", but I never paid enough attention to the speed sections. Would think Saxton would compare if not overshadow, though.

I have one last question:

Small Building Level, possibly higher seems good but seeing how Saxton one-shotted the Yeti in Jungle Inferno shouldn't he become Building Level, even if we were to assume that the Yeti is just as durable as the mercenaries? (The mercs scale to a 0.1 tons of TNT feat, this would bump Saxton up to ~0.75 tons of TNT)

Also would it be okay to upgrade Saxton's speed now?

I do not think that we can scale him based on guesswork regarding how strong the yeti is.

What I accepted previously should probably be fine to apply.

I mean, it isn't really guesswork. The Yeti stomped Soldier, Pyro and Sniper, all of whom scale to Scout's 0.1 tons of tnt feat.

I am not home currently, but I will change his speed statistic in a few hours.

Okay. It is the 7.5x stronger than the yeti part that seems like speculation.

Actually nevermind. I read the One-Shot page again and it seems like I accidentally skimmed over the last part.

I have just adjusted his speed statistics (he does not have any travel speed feats, which is why I've added "Unknown Travel speed")

You can close the thread now, thank you for your help!
