I'm still willing to bet that Sasuke, being as high up as he would be with the Susano'o, would have plenty of time to get the hell out of dodge.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he would. He just has to slip into a portal and crisis avoided. How strong even is the explosion? HIs amps only apply to his axe.

You know how I said "Ungrim's explosion doesn't take a ton of time to travel. At all."? Yeah it's fast enough to utterly blitz those comparable to Ungrim lol
And how strong it is? Completely one-shot those comparable up to even being superior to Ungrim.

Worst case scenario then Sasuke uses the Izanagi, saving him from death and letting Ungrim blow himself to bits.

Sasuke doesn't know how the AOE explosion is a thing going into this battle, and even then Sasuke has to close the distance in the first place (wait, does Sasuke start with the Susano'o out or no?). Even then, the AOE is dependent on Ungrim getting angry to the point where the explosion occurs if he can't vent out the flames. Noting that Ungrim still has access to the Lore of Aqshy in addition to his abilities as it's incarnate, and can utilize them if Sasuke wants to create distance.
Additionally, what attack/tactic does Sasuke typically start with? Does he usually bust out the Susano'o right away, if he's not already in it, or does he do something else? (And if so, how fast does activating the Susano'o take?)

Sasuke in this era is typically a hand-to-hand fighter, rushing in with his sword first to gauge his opponent. He mostly relies on dodging and countering, only busting out the Susano'o once he realizes just how sturdy his opponent is, or when nothing else really works.

He might lose a limb or two, or die then, but that's just one of Ungrim's wincons, so if he can disengage from melee...

He uses Izanagi as he's dying, even if the explosion's already reached him it doesn't stop the jutsu; Danzo was able to use it even with Sasuke insta-killing him with each of his techniques.
Does Ungrim use his amps right off the bat? If he does then oh yeah Sasuke would have to get the hell out of dodge very quickly, which he's capable of doing, then he might start abusing the Susano'o.

Sasuke would have the issue of "I don't have a body and couldn't react to getting blown to ****" so...
His amps are passive, he's also a Slayer, so he's 100% willing to take even a lethal blow to deal a lethal blow.
