Yeah but that was from like, dozens of meters away. Now for Kirin, sick dying itachi managed to perceive it,
We kinda do tho? In 99% of cases edos are blatantly just weaker than alive versions. At best they'd be relative to their alive forms so the issue would remain.as for Deidara, we don't really need to scale edo forms below their alive forms,
Because Kabuto tweaked edo Madara by giving him Hashirama cells and access to the rinnegan in a young body. 2 major amps he didn't have when alive. I feel like it'd be very disingenuous to ignore these to use Madara for anything in regards to other edos.Kabuto was confident that edo madara would be above his alive state so I believe we cant throw out the full possiblity and it would potentially fix a bunch of issues,
If anything, after Madara gets revived he gets notably stronger with both Hashirama and the databook claiming he's "regaining his past strength" despite being blind. Basically meaning the edo nerf was still so major that
Blind alive Madara > edo nerfed rinnegan Madara
Okay but who exactly would this apply to? I can think of at best 3 people (Itachi, Chio, and Kimimaro) and 2 of those have no feats as edos anyway.a lot of the characters who may have had health issues forbidding them from being at a true hypothetical peak could be superior in their edo states
On the other hand multiple edos were actually originally weaker. Nagato lacked life force/chakra, Kakuzu lacked his 5 hearts, and Sasori was missing his puppets.
Edos have been stated weaker than when alive every time their strengths were compared so I don't really agree with the idea of us scaling them the other way around.
