You know that isn't what I'm referring to, but I'd rather not bicker about it, it's not relevant to the topic at hand.
 
That's enough cluttering the RVR thread from non staff, take up to either message walls or DMs if you wish to continue. That goes for both MonkeMan and ImmortalDread.

But asking staff, the topic is what we should do for Coomander. Permaban outright seems to be harsh and posted was already removed and he would already technically be warned given the ban was already placed even if we removed it later. Should we shorten it, or remove it outright?

I personally am not inclined towards that given his history of toxic behavior and given how clear our rules are on this.

I'm not in favor of removing it. Is there a suggestion for a shortened duration? How long exactly?
 
I'd prefer a shortened duration of 3 months.

Really if it wasn't for Fandom I'd prefer a complete unbanning, since those two people are, from what it seems, good friends who often make jokes like that with each other. But I believe in past incidents, Fandom has unbanned users who technically violated those sorts of rules, but in non-egregious ways (i.e. quoting a post with the n-word in it to report it) after 3 or so months.

I changed @Coomandar's forum ban to 3 months. I couldn't find a wiki account other than this, which has no activity and wasn't banned, so I've left it alone for now.

As I stated earlier, I don't think this sort of thing should warrant a ban, and so when I see it I don't think of it as banworthy. It's only when someone brings up the fact that it's against Fandom's ToS, and that they may treat violations of that against us, that I realise we have to act.

Although, Fandom didn't bat an eye at this, so I guess they don't investigate us closely enough to pick up every slip up like that. But now that we have you screaming "HEY, THIS PERSON BROKE FANDOM'S TOS, WE HAVE TO BAN THEM RIGHT?" in the middle of a thread with dozens of staff members, I think we have to.

Anyway, that's just why I didn't act earlier, but realise the issue now. If no-one else has any differing opinions, I'd suggest applying a ban until November 16th (3 months after the infraction).

I did not scream, my case, in fact, never got evaluated properly even after I pointed out the regulations, @Deagonx even added an information regarding his behaivour. Thus, I am requesting for evaluation and consistency as well, since there is no difference between that one and another one.

But I guess temporary ban is fine, although the rule is strict and direct which one should be taken, but I won't fight for it.

It says ban without warning. Not permanent ban without warning.

Last time I intrude (though this is sort of about me so I kind of had an obligation to), but it was evaluated properly, I literally got a stern warning to never do it again by two Admins (though Crabwhale was slightly less serious with his warning, but it was a warning regardless).
I made a poor joke with a buddy. I got warned. I accepted their warnings. I will never do it again. And fandom seemingly hadn't even seen what I did, either.
Considering that, there's literally no reason to ban me for it, and I don't know why you insist on me being punished- Surely what ever I've done to you isn't enough to justify such a huge grudge, but what ever, it's water under the bridge for me.
Now I humbly request that you stop bringing this up unless I'm reported again in the future, please and thank you.
With that, I'll stop defending my self and get out of here, thank you for your cooperation.
 
Certainly, I will no longer bring up this matter since a new decision has been proposed by @Agnaa for a 3-month block. It is now a matter of time for other administrators and thread moderators to either agree or disagree with the suggestion and take appropriate action.

Incoherent name, ignoring multiple staff warnings, vandalizing specific pages of a popular verse after their changes have been undone repeatedly- I'm permabanning and ruling this one as a troll.

Spoilers aren't exactly damaging to the wiki, but common sense would call it a dick move. That's not really RVR worthy but asking someone to remove spoiler would be better.
 
I do not think that MonkeMan needs to be punished again long after an issue has been solved, and since Coomandar did not seem to mean any genuine harm, given Ziller's comments above, I think that a 1 month block should likely be sufficient.

As the closest person to the owner of the forum, and a long-time bureaucrat, I'll defer to you in matters like these, where we decide how closely to align with Fandom's enforcement of their ToS.

I'm happy with a 1 month for Coomandar, and nothing for MonkeMan then.
 
I'm reporting this dude for being a possible sock of vapour or cloud.
He makes two posts on Ant's message wall about there being verse bias against TR and then dips away never to be seen again.
ClownYagami has an entire history of abusing alternative accounts like this, just look at ElvishFreshley for example.
*Makes an account on Nov 11.
*Disappears until April 5 (Almost 5 months)
*Disappears again on the same day and reappears on June 2 (~2 months of inactivity)
*Goes inactive on June 8 only to reappear on August 5 (~2 months of inactivity)

Not to mention how he had akasakelulcifer since 2021 and only started using it on 2023. 2 years worth of inactivity, even before he made his main Cloudyagami account.

And he's no stranger to using alternative accounts like this, like his reddit his alts were: CloudYagami, manjirosanotv, TaboLagoon, theplexiford among others that post the "AnimeVsRanking" watermark and/or ChipSkyLart tiktok account.

I know said user has too little contributions but prevention is always better than a cure.
