I'm sorry but I dislike this idea that regular members aren't worth commenting on threads and do nothing but inconvenience us staff. The staff isn't perfect and if a punishment is seen as unjust people should feel comfortable about speaking their mind about it. If we want to continue growing we can't alienate those we want to appeal to and make it seem like we don't care what they have to say. Allowing a little bit of extra input isn't going to horribly derail this thread or handicap the rule enforcing process.
