Belial shook his head at the comments of his enemies, his eyes flaring up with bloodshot as he tapped his throne's armrest faster than ever, not wanting to listen to this anymore...
"I will obliterate your star."
Belial launched himself off of his throne and towards Rory, his
Star Hammer clashing with her
Goddess Cleaver, causing multiple tears in the fabric of reality that wouldn't be repaired for a while.
With unimaginable grace, Rory and Belial clashed an unfathomable amount of times with precision capable of tearing apart atoms and quark due to the sheer amount of precision and skill that Rory and Belial had obtained.
"Goddess Cleaver: Rapier form."
Rory's sword shined almost as bright as the White Sun she had summoned, changing its shape rapidly to match its wielder's request. The blade thinned itself down into a rapier.
"A little too thick for a rapier, but I guess it'll have to do if this is your idea of a rapier."
Rory appeared as nothing but a golden flash to Belial as she blitzed him with speed and precision unseen by any warrior present on the field, using her abnormally flexible body to perform movements that bent the very laws of slashing and cutting to deliver blows that destroyed space, allowing her to hit in an instant.
"You are a genius among geniuses, mother. But..."
None of the blows were able to do any significant damage to Belial, as he used his large hammer, which shouldn't have been able to be used for micro-management defense, to parry all of her attacks. She was significantly faster than him, the speed difference was almost funny... But Belial was no common fighter.
"I've recorded your movements."
Belial was a genius that stood at the absolute zenith of all mortal intelligence, his desire for akasha had led him to an indescribable world of knowledge that only one who was almost or completely all-knowing would be able to match or surpass. His technical prowess even when wielding such a large and chunky weapon was absolutely absurd.
"Now, let me have a taste!"
Belial twisted his neck along with his entire body, bursting off the ground and towards Rory at such speed that he was able to get a bite out of her arm. He may have been a genius, but while using his sin, he was also gluttonous... Gluttonous beyond belief. He swiftly chewed up the chunk of flesh he had torn off and swallowed it with a gulp.
"More Please.~"
Beelzebub kicked off the ground on all fours like a rabid dog, attempting to tear off chunks of Rory's body. He created black formations, giant mouths that consumed large chunks of space. Rory was capable of dodging barely, but a few small tears were made in her skin.
"How annoying are you gonna get, Belial!?"
Rory dodged Belial's next assault and grabbed him by his shirt collar, jumping into the air and delivering a knee kick to his stomach which knocked Belial millions and billions of light-years into space.
"If we keep fighting here we'll destroy everything, so let's take this a bit higher."
With all of her might, the knightess used her
Goddess Cleaver to carve a hole in the fabric of space and time, flying through it while holding and dragging Belial by the collar.
It was a void of color and abstraction that Rory had dragged Belial into so they would be able to continue their fight without any casualties. She let go of Belial, throwing him.
"The world of Lucid Dreaming, we've started on the 6th dimension. This way, there's no need for us to hold back."
Belial coughed a bit as he shook his head, holding his hammer tightly. He spun it around at untold speeds as he glared at his mother, smirking maniacally as he leaned his head back.
"Good, I'm glad we got rid of the rabble who were getting in the way. Let's enjoy ourselves before the end!"
Belial and Rory clashed with each other once more, the very concept of time being irrelevant to them now as they had transcended it in all of its extensions. They blasted from the present to the past and the future so fast that they weren't even able to process any of the events that had taken place.
"Of course, I won't be able to defeat you in physical combat, mother! I'm not sure anyone could! Then, I'll focus on a different approach. TYPE:SIN."
A purple sphere of energy formed around Belial as his physical form began to shift and change as he became shorter and skinnier, he could be described as feminine even.
"Asmodeus."
"Mother, die for me."
Belial glared at his mother, his eyes flashing a deep violet crimson as a large portion of her body began being covered in unbreakable stone. Belial's arm trembled, shaking uncontrollably.
"Ah- Ahhh... Ah-- KkHkhkkkk..."
Belial made a variety of sounds as he grasped his head like he was having a seizure of sorts...
"Why..??? Why did you have to call me out, Beelzebub!? I don't want to fight her!! Not her!"
Belial leaned backward, bending his back. This version of him clearly did not wish to engage in combat with someone he considered dear to him, either that or he was just so mentally unstable that he couldn't fight...
"Kkk... KAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
A flash of purple light surrounded Rory and Belial as they flew through countless dimensional layers, obliterating countless worlds in the process with his unfathomable raw strength.
"What a freakishly strong brat! Just bring out your strongest so we can get this over with, Belial!"
Belial continued to scrunch up into a ball as he held his head in pain, his eyes going bloodshot.
"D-Do- Ah, kill-- Don't come near me, worthless-- Worthless... I'm worthless...!!"
As they were flung through the countless dimensions that made up the world, Rory slowly walked towards the curled-up Belial and placed her hand on his head.
"Calm yourself, you aren't worthless. You don't need to despair anymore, you can calm down now. Just embrace me, and I can help you. We all can!"
Belial slowly got up, his hair flailing in the absurd winds that accompanied being flung through dimensions. Tears poured down his eyes, as the bloodshot slowly decreased.
"Right... I'm not worthless. I need love. And I know how I can get it... How we can all be one. I just have to ignite the Dark Sun... Haha.. Hahahahaha!!! Mother, we can be together forever if I just destroy everything and leave nothing else!"
Countless balls of antimatter formed around the two as Asmodeus waved his hand violently towards Rory, all of the said attacks flying towards her at untold speeds. The more Rory tried to parry, the more her body was destroyed.
"This is getting us nowhere!"
Rory rapidly teleported out of the sphere of attacks, but another sphere of attacks followed after, and another, and another until the number of attacks had increased to the point she couldn't even make it out with her
Mystic Eyes. In a desperate struggle, she threw her sword through a tiny crack in the attacks, landing right in Belial's heart.
"I'm sorry, but you have to die..."
Belial looked into the air as they continued to ascend, holding his chest as if it was on fire.
"...Not Yet. This isn't it... This isn't the feeling of chaos that we desire so much, is it?"
Belial raised his hand into the air as if he was trying to grasp something as all of his antimatter attacks slowly faded away into nothingness. His eyes twitched as his face began to contort.
"TYPE:SIN."
Belial closed his fist.
"Chaos."
Rory knew what this meant for her. She knew that Belial had finally accepted everything that came with a curse, that came with the curse of being made from despair...
He said nothing, and neither did she. They simply clashed. They clashed over and over, it felt like quadrillions of years were being traversed for the fighters, but for others, it may as well have been 30 minutes.
How many times did they tear each other apart? Neither of them could tell, but the one thing that they knew was that neither star was going to win the battle between hope and despair. Neither of them was stronger than the other to a point they could completely win.
"Discharge."
Those were the last words that Belial had uttered before he clasped his fist gently, his Dark Sun slowly expanding and expanding, forcing Rory's own White Sun to expand against it.
"All of you, everything, you are expelled from the World of Dreams. Spend your lives as humans, not dreamers."
The discharge of such potent celestial energy had expelled everything from the Dream World, mostly the people. Rory couldn't see Belial's fate, nor could Belial see hers. But they both knew that this would be the last time they ever saw each other.
"BELIALLLLL!!!!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rory's eyes slowly opened... "Huh...?"
The dreamers were expelled from the
Dream World and into the real world...
