Ragnarök-RP Thread

"It's that, and I quite literally cannot sleep. I can usually sleep instantly whenever I want, but my nerves quite literally aren't resting..." She gets up and rubs her head. "I think we should worry more about that though." Rory points.

"Probably some apocalypse raiders or whatever."

"Oh look, Mad Max wannabes." Yharim said calmly as he casually walked over to them, five golden portals opening behind him, revealing swords and more specifically, a bunch of small, golden disks that floated around Yharim, numerous enough to stop a full assault from at least thirty machine guns.

Yharim pulled a sword from his Vault, a one-handed sword that seemed almost weightless in Yharim's hand. Specifically catching the raiders' attention

"I recommend you stand down. What is your purpose here?" Yharim questioned, his blue eyes almost seeming to glow

(Yharim and Co still retain specific powers, they mot certainly do not have their full kit right now)

King Tiger stood up, looking at the incoming raiders with concern.

Tiger was good at close combat, and his training before going into the dream world gave him above average physical strength, but taking on multiple, likely armed people would be impossible in his current state.

while he wouldn’t hesitate to tackle any challenge in the dream world, his new found weakness has shaken his confidence and will, causing him a level of fear and indecisiveness he hasn’t felt in a long time.

he stood their, behind Yharim, anxiously waiting for what would happen.

"What're we doin'? What you doing in our territory, you ******' skimps!?" Dozens of raiders pulled out machine guns pointing them at the group. "You dreamers!?"

Rory walked up slowly, holding her hands up."Yeah man, calm down..! We got expelled from the Dream World and we're just trying to get back, only a few of us have our powers, so just calm down..."

The raiders laughed, "Naw dollface, we gon' take you ******* back to the base, see what the chief'll do to yah."

"Alright, but here's some nice and clear warning: we have someone setting up a habitat of sorts within the foundry, close enough to melt you all like ice cream. Once he is done, that threat won't be present anymore, but there will be defenses that would dispersuade people like yourselves from trying to raid it, as just one shot would obliterate this van here. If we aren't back here in nine hours, he's going to come looking for us packing that kind of firepower. Secondly: if you harm any "dreamer" here I will slaughter you without mercy. Have I made myself clear? If not, I will make an example out of each and every one of you until the rest get the message." Yharim said in a fully serious and threatening tone as twenty portals opened up with weapons sticking out of them, as a portal opened and put a light sword in Rory's hands.

Shalor calmly walked up, Enkidu shining around him as he gazed at the raiders defiantly

"Ok everyone, stop trying to be cool and awesome by doing these threats, it makes you sound dumb." Rory turned to Yharim, everyone knew she was referring to him. "I'm sure we can work something out here... Yeah..." She waved her hands weirdly at Yharim, trying to perform sign language.

"Sword... give sword, kill raiders, go to raiders base, kill other raiders."

Swiftly, Rory grabbed the handle of the sword and dashed towards the caravan! She wasn't as fast or strong in this Real World form, but aim-dodging was easy for someone with her skill.

She plunged the sword into the side of the caravan, using it to flip into the air and onto the top. Before they could pull the trigger, she tackled one of the guys and yoinked his gun from him. Using his body as a shield, she began to shoot at the other raiders as they shot at the shield she was using, which was covered in bulletproof armor. She shot all of the raiders in the head, blood covering her body.

"Alright, let's steal this caravan!"

"Sorry, I just haven't killed anything in a while. I'm used to bathing in the blood of my enemies since pretty much everyone fought in the Dream World." Rory picked up some protective armor herself and put it on.

"But when you've been fighting for so long it's sort of easy to do shit like that. You guys really need to let go of your inhibitions and just go for it."

"But when you've been fighting for so long it's sort of easy to do shit like that. You guys really need to let go of your inhibitions and just go for it."
“Heh. I’ll keep that in mind” King Tiger said. Cleaning out the blood from one of the helmets before placing it back onto his head. Rory was right. Their time fighting in the dream world had made them much more skilled then the average person, he had underestimated just how much the dream world had improved their abilities, even if not physically.

“So. Do you guys think we should find their home base? Might be a good idea to take out the rest of the raiders before they try and kill someone else”

"That would be ideal. Once we do that, we should be able to reenter the Dream World." Horus said, looking for a map or something that would lead them to their base, realizing that there was just the GPS they could use, if it was still functioning. "If they have their base written down on the GPS we should be able to get there, and if its not, maybe its on a map or something."

"Well, that was the plan originally either way." Rory scavenged through the caravan, finding multiple ranged and melee weapons, and a few boxes of dried meat and fruit.

"Seems these guys have some sort of farm or whatever, either that or they stole these rations. Probably stolen." She ate a few dried berries. "Anyone know how to hotwire something?"

"I have an idea" Horus said as he used his talons to tear open the front of the caravan, revealing the wires connected all over. He extended his arm and took several of the wires connected to his armor and crossed them with the wires in the caravan, giving him direct access to the car via his armor. He then just turned the car on. "So do we know where we're going or are we just going to ride off into the sunset Mad Max style?"

"Ride off into the sunset? riiiiight, and cats will fly. We need to take them out at their core." a female voice said as a red-haired woman walked out from behind the Caravan

"Good to know you made it Eonara. I assume you would have an idea on where this core is." Yharim responded

"No clue, any time I've seen one of those damn caravans they have been aggressive. but Stroheim is running around in a caravan right now just looking for it, turns out he has retained enough strength and tech to mow down the caravans easily, so I am not worried about him. Have any idea where anyone else is by the way?" Eonara responded and asked

"Draedon is setting up a habitat in a highly radioactive area, he should be done in 8 hours and 50 minutes. Shalor is here with me, no Idea on anyone else." Yharim resonded

"Great. fortunately if my strength is anything to go by I don't think we need to be worried about Relanak, Signus, or Yharon." Eonara said as Signus accidently crept up on her causing her to shoulder check him hard when startled.

"Ouch, I forgot I need to announce my approach since I tend to sneak accidently..." Signus said, clearly not very hurt by Eonara punching him, but reminded that he is a sneaky bastard

"Signus! Your okay!" Shalor said happily

"I'm surprised you had any doubt about that!" Signus responded, relieved that Shalor was fine

"Are you guys done with your little reunion? The caravan here has a GPS and a map we can use, it should lead us to their base. We have enough weapons for those who don't have any real power left, and there's dried food here too. Let's leave a little marker for Draedon so he doesn't obliterate any potential resources (raiders) we find."

Rory jumped out of the caravan, wiping some blood off of her hair.

"Calm your horses Rory, me and Signus literally JUST got here." Eonara said, annoyed at the rush Rory was putting on as she got into the Caravan

"Signus, your target is the Raiders' leader. get any information you can when you are in the Raiders' base." Yharim ordered as Signus quietly got into the caravan.

"It shall be done, the Raider's leader will be feeding the dirt in good time." Signus said calmly

"Huh? I quite literally barely know most of you servants, why should I care? We've already got everything we need, now finish sucking off your king and let's get going!" The heat was unbearable and the air was dry as all hell... She was in a real body, so this had a pretty serious effect on her stamina.

She got in the driver's seat, placing her legs on the wheel. "First though, we have to ride into the sun mad max style, like we just have to for the reference's sake!"

"How about I burn down this damn caravan with you in it and wait for Stroheim to pick us up? Because in case you have suddenly forgot, we aren't in the dream world any more, we are in the real world. I would rather eliminate our current threat as fast as possible then waste time because you wanted to do some damn reference." Eonara snapped, clearly not in any mood to mess around

"I am suddenly a King again? I am just a leader of my group right now, I am a king when i have people. I do not have people right now. As for eliminating our current threat that does have my support, the reference can happen when we aren't constantly being hunted down by a massive group of madmen." Yharim calmly said, giving Eonara a warning glance about the death threat

"Please don't make Eonara angry..." Shalor said

"Buuuuuzzzzzzkill. That's your new nickname, buzzkill. That's what you are... Whatever your name is, I wasn't listening." Rory lowered her feet and grabbed onto the wheel. She wasn't afraid of death, she'd been facing fates worse than it way more than half of her life, and now that the threat was just humans, she was in a more carefree mode, so whatever threats whatever her name was (I genuinely forgot) would throw at her wouldn't phase her.

"Horus, GPS." She yoinked the GPS from Horus and looked at it. She tilted her head, sort of confused due to not having seen a GPS in over 80 years.

"It should probably take us... Give or take 35 minutes to get to where we need to go if I'm looking at this thing right."
