Read the comments of the CRT I linked, Hobbes was discussed a lot and it was concluded feats involving him weren't usable out of this stuff.

Yeah that seems like a reason for deletion. We don't allow stuff to be indexed like that. But I'd still like to hear from a knowledgeable member to see if there is any reason to think Hobbes is real.

@King_Dom470

I mean I can just tell you, Hobbes is verifiably just a toy. The entire comic strip is about Calvin's imagination.

To be fair, the feat Calvin scales to would have had to be performed by himself, so the rating actually wouldn’t be unusable

Hobbes’ page and anything concocted by Calvin’s imagination definitely can’t be used though

Entire articles can be rewritten just like that? Making our profiles worthless? I always wonder if indexing SCP in VS Battles Wiki is even a good idea..
funny, wonder if we'll ever do something about that
I obviously agree that writing fact sheets about other fact sheets without true stories connected to them seems like a very bad idea, but I don't know how to get rid of the verse without an enormous uproar in our community.

As for Hobbes, as far as I have understood it is ambivalent whether or not he is real, as he is more intelligent and knowledgeable than Calvin and has taken independent actions sometimes.

Or that entire sequence of getting shoved into the ground is imaginary.

The idea, as I understand it, isn't just that everything literally happens but Hobbes is a stuffed animal. It's that almost all of the events in those strips, particularly the ones where Calvin is alone, are a part of his imagination; they're largely untied from reality.

So Calvin wouldn't actually be getting injured, dirty, or throwing himself into concrete.

Well, the problem is that Hobbes has very different and more knowledgeable philosophical perspectives than Calvin does, and has supposedly sometimes done things independently from the latter, so I think that it is meant to be ambivalent whether or not he is real in some sense.

Calvin himself isn't totally stupid, though, he's just bad at school. Hobbes just presents more refined and mature perspectives that often run counter to Calvin's, but you could interpret that as any number of things. We literally see Hobbes revert to a stuffed animal every time another character is expected to interact with him, I think it's pretty clear.

Problem is other people who aren't in on the imagination comment on calvin being dirty or injured most notably his mother. So he is definitely getting hurt

Blech, if things are getting this nuanced, maybe a thread should be made about it.

Yes, but again, it seems to be ambivalently handled whether or not Hobbes is just a figment of Calvin's imagination or something more than that.

Would you be willing to google/research for evidence regarding whether Hobbes is supposed to be real or not, and then start a thread about the issue, @King_Dom470 ?

Having looked a bit, scans like this make me seriously doubt those panels being visually reliable at all.

The panels show him being pulled, injured, and clothed. While the adult description describes it as him being naked and running.

EDIT: Never mind, I misinterpreted this; I missed the last panel before it cut away which implies that Calvin took off his clothes.

Yuh

Kinda off topic but there are also other characters who can perform pretty insane feats for a verse that just real life.

Thank you. Can you link to it here please?

Noticed that this profile exists
Zero scans
Zero references
No orichalcos god key and a bunch of abilities, range AP/Dura and Speed justifications are missing

The main AP/Durability ratings are from a shaky calc where KE from what I've been told shouldn't apply
Most powers lack real elaboration and scans and the race pages seem to be carbon copies of one another?

Also only Saikou is active out of the supporters is active and I already asked out of site if he plans to revise the verse and he said no

Actually can you send me the source for all of this please so its not all fully gone, I used to play this game a lot so if its gonna go I might as well have a base to work off of to reproduce it eventually

Miguel here has a trash profile that uses an unsourced Marvel Guidebook for every single stat sans Durability, as well as his Stamina and Intelligence literally having nothing in them beyond a "LYLA can wake him up!" For stamina

I'mma be real I've seen worse Marvel and DC pages we didn't delete
You can probably rather easily find feats for the guy in that ballpark anyways so just look for those and put them in the page
Also speed has feats besides the marvel guidebook thing

New profile, baseless 9-B, 9-A tier not even reflected in the AP, just generally poor quality.
