Pokémon General Discussion Thread Gen VI: The Best of them all

Come to think of something... after watching some Top 10 best pokemon lists and top 10 worst pokemon lists (and reading fan riots in the comments) I've come to realize there isn't a single Pokemon I actually dislike. I like some more than others, sure, but even the most unpopular ones have something, be it design wise or gemplay wise. >_>

Please do not ever post links to freeroms for emulation or similar sites. I was just told that it is an extremely dangerous site that has viruses and trojans within their downloads.

This is extremely important. I do not want our members to have their computers infected and hacked.
 
Oh, disliking? I thought it was about being forgettable.

In which case, I´m in the same boat, I like practically all Pokémon the same.

Which is another reason for me to not get Gen 8

It seems they aren´t even going to add a new Eeveelution at this point
 
The latter, I think.

Note how there´s a pattern since Gen 2.

Gen 1 :Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon

Gen 2: Espeon, Umbreon

Gen 3: Nope

Gen 4: Leafeon, Glaceon

Gen 5: Nope

Gen 6: Sylveon

Gen 7: Nope

In other words, each "pair" Gen since 2 gets at least one new Eeveelution.

Either that, or we aren´t getting more as the number has been decreasing as of Gen 6.
 
@Bob: Aye, Stantler is kinda funny (and Brock had a pretty nice episode in the anime with his friendship with one), I kinda like the concept of Girafarig and despite Lumineon's mehness in gameplay I think it's rather pretty looking.

Only if your dumb enough to click the GREEN Ôåô Download and not the ORANGE Direct Download. It's your fault if you got a virus because you did it wrong. I've done dozen's of downloads from this website for 3 different consols and never have I gotten a virus and my virus protection sucks, although I do have an add blocker so maybe that helps.
 
How to remember which types are special in Gen 1-3, it's all the Eeveelutions and Dragon. So, if they do make another one hopefully it's Dragon-type.
 
And Steel as it wasn´t introduced until Gen 2.

And perhaps Flying because fan demand and mono-Flying types are not common.

You know they're just going to make it Normal/Flying, because GameFreak is DUMB like that!

I honestly feel the same way. The only Pokemon I really can't stand are ones that I have personal vendettas against, such as Swalot, who somehow killed my team for no reason in my Emerald and Alpha Sapphire games.

That, and Mega-Glalie. Because his Mega-Evolution is disgusting and downright disturbing.
 
Well, I probably won't be purchasing Sword/Shield, nor Masters, because I don't have a Switch, nor a Smartphone.

I also plan to watch the Masters Trailer. Maybe see if there's anything of consequence there.

I hope SwSh & Masters sell badly so that GF learns to make better games. But I'm worried they won't. Or worse, only SwSh sells badly & GF focuses on Masters & more mobile stuff.

On the other hand, I want people to experience enough of them that we can explore the new lore.

Feels like SwSh can't come out fast enough, because I just wanna see the new Pokemon & lore, & move on to the results of these games.

(Lol. I feel like I know how Diavolo feels now.)
 
I mean, it's really stupid to buy Pokémon Sword and Shield when possibly here in a year or two the full version, Pokémon Spear, comes on the market.
 
Y'all don't get is that why we play Pokémon games is for the Pokémon. I can't just go play something else with doesn't have Pokémon in it and expect to have the same experience.

Go play Digimon, because Digimon doesn't have this problem and is 100x better then Pokemon! And this is coming from someone who likes Pokemon!
