After all...Nothing stops Cole from turning into a Black Hole and teleporting next to him...Or Ionic Drain...Plus spells can be dodge-OKAY DERAILING
 
His regen and ability to resurrect himself may counter death magic, but it's too close to say.

Time stop summoning makes it even more worrisome
 
Death Magic won't work whenever you can regenerate. I don't think Zeref has ever demonstrated any moves that involve Space-Time so can't really use that as an argument.

Arguably high enough to use regen and his heart restarting ability to not die (fought of a super poison made by Conduits for Conduits)

I'm just saying, Cole arguably takes it w/ or w/o speed equalized
