One Piece Discussion Thread Nine Return To Water Seven

Watching the vid Luffys finishers tend to be really badass. You could make a list based on that alone.
 
Agreed. Luffy's finishing moves shows what a fight is: a clash of ideals. Since the winner is the one who doesn't doubt, the screams fits the scenes quite perfectly to show Luffy's determination.
 
Well, Oda said that he wanted to do more with Smoothie in Whole Cake Island Arc but couldn't so I don't see why he won't do so in this situation given that Smoothie is the second strongest after Big Mom with the current members at Wano and with Big Mom sorta incapitated (amnesia)...
 
I wasn't actually aware of that that makes a lot of sense.

And that's nice to hear I just want to see more from here.
 
Okay, I just read that sad fanfic. I was expecting a heartbreaking story able to make me cry, and while it's sad af, I didn't cry.
 
You're talking about that Polaris fanfic that Js posted earlier. It's was truly sad and tug at the heart strings, especially when Robin keep finding the corpses of the crew and then when Robin and Luffy meet their final demise. But at least they went to a better place. It may not be Raftel but it is a better place nonetheless
 
Totally. I'm happy with that ending.

The other fanfic that was really cool was that where the OP universe is the same but really dark and cruel.

Yesterday i read some fanfics about what would happen if Monet surivied the events of Punk Hazard. They were actually intresting ( and it also expands her relationship with Sugar and the rest of the family for a bit)
 
This is going to lead to both Queen and Luffy fighting each other in the sumo ring, isn't it?
