New Ability for Saiyans

Ok so I have been looking through some old interviews and Word of God straight from the creator says that Saiyans get stronger mid-fight, the bigger the gap the quicker it closes http://www.kanzenshuu.com/translations/battle-gods-animanga-akira-toriyama/ SSJG Goku, Trunks, and Goku Black especially show a this ability, I think it's safe to add to Saiyans, it's seperate from the Zenkai boost, anyone agree?

If that were true on the same scale as Black/Trunks (inconsistency), almost everything in dragon ball up until now would be PIS: to name a few: Vegeta losing to zarbon, vegeta losing to frieza, gohan losing to frieza, raditz losing, super saiyans losing to droids (and in the future)... the list goes on.

Actually Krillin also mentioned thi during Goku vs Hit when Hit powered up and Krillin said that was specialty of Goku.

But only times we see this is Goku vs Frieza

The power up works most effectively when the gap between their power is that great of a difference Zarbon wasn't that far ahead of Vegeta, Vegeta was still remarked as being stronger than before once he fought Frieza, any other time he got beat down too quickly for the ability to come into effect but Vegeta himself even said Gohan was getting stronger as the battle went on and that was BEFORE Dende healed him, Raditz lost because he fought opponents weaker than him and got hit with a strong attack, and again the droids beat them down too quickly.

My only issue with this is that it falls under a power Saiyans and half Saiyans have: Full Release, better known as Zenkai. While it's true that Saiyans get stronger as they fight, they recieve their biggest boosts after recovering from near fatal injuries.

Basically, as they fight they see some increase in strength but not too much as no Saiyan or the like to my knowledge have shown more power during a fight that wasn't owed to a new transformation or rage boosts. Yet, after recovery from extreme injury, they always recieve significant boosts in power.

So "Vegeta was beaten too fast for the ability to take effect"... And trunks had time to close the gap with black? does that apply also to how vegeta/trunks lost to cell or how Black OVERPOWERED everyone after getting some damage. Or how gohan lost to buutenks, how gotenks lost to buu, how vegeta lost to buu (like twice), how goku lost to kid buu, how gohan lost to dabura. Do you really think that ability is consistent with what has been shown.

Blacks is obviously different then the rest of the saiyans when it comes to getting stronger via damage. Vegeta got ragdolled by frieza and left on the ground for ages, yet he did not recover or get stronger despite the time allowance. similiar case goes for when cell beating the snot out of vegeta.

I feel like this should be obvious but when that old interview was made it was not intended to include Blacks weird stamina recovery and power increasing.

I don't think anything can come from that quote you're saying. Doesn't fit.

Yes, it's true. The Saiyans more fight with powerful enemies and the more they become more powerful. Akira Toriyama has said this clearly. http://www.kanzenshuu.com/translations/battle-gods-animanga-akira-toriyama/

Frieza had just afraid of this growing power of the Saiyans. Cell also has this growth because he is partly Saiyan. Not only that, Vegeta says this in episode 39. Zamas becomes Goku for this purpose , because of what he has this power that grows while he fights like all Saiyans. Obviously if an enemy is much more powerful as Frieza, it kills before a Saiyan can grow enough.





Black Goku is excited about being Saiyan.





The Saiyans can increase the power even greatly with the feelings. Also, if they survive at almost deadly battles their power is growing dramatically. This is not new. In fact they always fought, and they increased the power. In addition to meditation.
